I was in the middle of editing my previous post earlier this morning when the board crashed -- don't blame me!

I was just gonna revise my comments about orange, after hearing the spanish bit about "the answer is orange" -- that is precisely the kind of incongruity which I believe marks the true clue in each episode. Thank you.

And if anyone brings up the issue of the title, "orange" works both as the color and the color of *what*.

Car taillight

Yeah, yeah.. so I'm slow. Just got around to watching all 3 eps tonight, and this is something that stood out to me while watching ep 3, that I haven' t seen noticed here:

As Jim is driving away from the place where they're burning Caleb, the driver's side taillight on his car is VERY bright orange, while the other appears to be practically white. However, in the next scene, both taillights are lit and normal reddish color.

Just an observation...

Blood Money

Although Im sitting on the fence and just sizing everything up Im leaning towards the Orange.

However, with all the blood/red references that were included in the show as well as the orange, Blood Money kept popping into mind. Isnt it called blood money if someone profits from someone elses death? What if Silas isnt dead, his whole death being faked and the serpent guy and Caleb were killed to keep it hush? Would that make it blood money then?

Just another thought to ponder

you know what bugs me about that orange pic?

it's a story of a truck that lost it (due to the spectral apparition of a fat naked man) over turned and went spilling blood oranges. all over the road. (For what it's worth, chances have it I would have plowed into something should the apparition of a fat naked fire encrusted pop cicle appear before my eyes)

Never in my history of watching headline news, or local papers endeavors, never once have I seen a paper/news show, competent or otherwise overlooking the potential of displaying CARNAGE on the air (AKA an over turned SEMI with oranges everywhere), in favor of a nice fruit blend. It doesn't happen.

I HAVE seen them over look, people giving the clothes off their backs to help someone. care to guess at what points? yep, in FAVOR of CARNAGE. Each time there is a train wreck how much train is shown vs how much track or better yet, the surrounding flora? NOPE NADDA, DOESN'T HAPPEN. The only flora you see in that type situation would be if it would happen to have an arm hanging freely from it's branch, or to have suddenly been burdened by the presence of a mass tonned box car on top of it as some odd decorative center piece...

where is the truck?
Actually there is also one other thing that peaks my curiosity. I have looked at and printed out the PUSH map. Van Buren is a desolate road off the main hwy. They were coming from cali to utah. The map shows quite distinctly a very healthy interstate just to the lower right of Van buren.

I guess the question remains why then the story? What is it's hidden meaning? The clue to the episode, very easily. But that's to simple.

I am prone to making odd connections in my head, and tend to ramble, but at least I try to be humorous at least...

What bothers me about the picture is that it's not the same one that flashes up on the screen during the microfiche scene and in the opening credits. The one on microfiche is a close up of two oranges... reminded me of the "baby got back" video hee hee hee.

Is this a mistake by the PM's or are they trying to make a point?
