Dear Employee,
Thank you for applying to be a Regional Manager for Dunder Mifflin Infinity. Unfortunately, there's been an error processing your application. To confirm your Regional Manager application, we will need you return to Dunder Mifflin Infinity and re-apply. You'll be given a brand new hiring code to send out to prospective employees.
... etc.
That means everyone who signed up under my original branch has to re-apply under my new one? I'll never be a branch manager!
Yes, I did get the same message! My old application is worthless! And all the work of recruiting employees is down the drain too. I really don't like how this started (before it actually started).

What if this means we had enough employees to qualify but were too late behind other qualifying managers for the same branches we picked? Maybe that's why they added some more?

I am thinking maybe other people got the required number of sign-ups; thus the re-apply letters.
I did a simple google search for Toledo branch and found a large group on another forum. Here is a sample of a post by someone:
"are you saying that you have already clinched the Branch Manager position for Toledo? Is it no longer open?"

Sorry Space. I'm not interested in re-registering for this
stupid
great game. Registering for the NBC site once was bad enough. Have fun with it though! The online and show interaction is going to be great!
edit: ok on the profile there is an easy link to re-apply. You don't have to go through the whole process again. yay!!!

Theory- maybe neither Palm nor Bass got enough employees to start a branch? I see a merger on the horizon....
EDIT: Not sure why I quoted rose here... but it works.
Lets it ride...

Merger? [quote="tygr20"]

That's what I was thinking - we should all rally under one person so as to get at least one division. I have not reapplied yet. Has anyone re-applied and got new members yet? Did you lose your bucks when you re-applied?

Moved to the Kalamazoo office. Used Bass' code. Waiting to see what happens...

Oh, wait, except for this:
Nampa=>Kalamazoo Express Code:

I'm not sure I understand this part of the game.
Freakin' sweet! This is my hometown, seriously. I've been asked so many freakin' times if it actually exists.

I'm filling out the employee application (Do you want to apply for regional manager or just a regular employee). Unfortunately I don't have a code from the Season 3 DVD for bonus SchruteBucks.
Looks like if you get 15 employees you can have your own branch, but during the first application you have to pick a city or something. I'll manage an Unfiction branch if anyone is interested.
I'm loving this already.
ETA: Oh, looks like you pick a city and then get employees. Well, I chose Independence, MO since it was close to me. Anyone want to sign up to work in my branch? If so, you need a Branch Hiring Code of v5mqyzoosf
ETA2: Looks like there's not much to do until Sep 27 except fill out your profile.
ETA... Again: WHOOPS! I didn't read two posts up apparently. We can go with kurt5510's branch instead, although I've got a few employees on mine already so I'd have to shuffle them. Re-structuring, already?
Just joined your branch...Eep got to go to class now. Bye.
I'm coffeegirl18 on there too. I adore The Office, it's just so quirky.

Re-appying OK, OK, I admit defeat (plus I don't want to get banned by Space). I re-applied as an employee for Kalamazoo using the new code.
Anyone who was under my Toledo region in the past - if you pm me I will give you the DVD code to make up for it - if it is not too late to use it, since you were all so loyal and to make amends for not getting enough players.
So how many SchrutBucks does everyone have?
I have 1000 (and I put in the DVD code and it did not add any new bucks to my 1000 yet - so don't know if it works). I have no idea how I got 1000 SchrutBucks

It's not defeat. I think we should have an UnFiction Branch, that's why I signed up under Bass when he posted about Nampa, moving to Kalamazoo is just a weird coincidence that makes me really excited about the game (because I'm incredibly homesick ).
Welcome to the new recruits!
Sarahzombie, check this out.
