I always figured that was a pic of Hud with Alex Van Halen... Laughing

Hud seems to have a different girl in each of his pics...none of them are remotely close to being Jamie Lascano, though (and/or "Rob's Awesome" Girl).

I've always operated under the belief that JJ told the actors to sprinkle a few "real" photos of themselves and their friends in with the fictitious "character" shots...so I suspect the girls in "Hud's" Myspace page are really friends of TJ Miller, *not* "Hudson Platt."

TJ Miller has a real myspace page of his own. Not IG at all, apparently.
Check it: http://www.myspace.com/tjmillerisnotonmyspace
I didn't sift through TJ Miller's 1,000+ friends but the Slusho 7 weren't on there. Maybe those girls on Hud's page are in TJM's myspace friends but I'm guessing not.

The picture from the trailer with "Jamie" and guy that looks like hud.

The guy looks like he's wearing a business suit which even though it is a going away party I didnt see anyone else wearing a suit or dressed formal. I'm not sure if that could be Hud and also with Curly hair it doesnt reflect light like that, that mans hair looks combed and is reflecting a seriously obvious glow. I'd veer more towards Teddy than Hud on that one.

You're talking about the one that's on cloverfieldclues.com right now?
Yeah, I'd buy the blonde chick as Jamie Lascano, but the guy on the right AIN'T TJ Miller, aka Hud. Besides, Hud is carrying the camera.

So yeah, that could well be Teddy Hanssen in that picture.

I think it's been suggested elsewhere (but I can't find it for the life of me) that '11 dollar guy' and Teddy are the same person. I was considering this when I realized something about both figures.
We didn't have a name for that guy, and thus far we don't have a MySpace for him. We didn't have the name Teddy Hansen when the MySpace pages first came to light. We certainly didn't have that name when the trailer came around. This makes me wonder if the writers didn't have a name nailed down for 11 dollar guy and decided later on the name Teddy Hansen. Another possibility is that if they are the same, his identity being disclosed and associated are an intentional plot mechanism and key to how his character develops.
Teddy is also the only named character so far we haven't seen a definite face for. Is this how we are being shown his face?

Well I personally think we should concentrate on why Rob would need 11 dollars, it's such an odd number. Not 10, not 15, but 11.

Exactly the reason I think that line was improvised. The random number makes it funny. Like (at the time) the only line ever improvised in a Kevin Smith film was when Chris Rock's response in Dogma when asked if he knew Jesus was "Know'em? Sh*t, n1*ga owe me 12 bucks". Again, random numbers are funny...to me anyway...

That line from Dogma was improvised? if that's the case, there was a lot of subsequent dialog written with no basis. The conversation from there talks about the bet that led to that money being owed, and the scroll behind his ear even plays into it. They made a prop hoping a line would be improvised for it?

I think numbers are numbers, and 11 is not so weird. If you pay for something for someone, it's not necessarily going to be an exact number anyway, and people are likely to round off, and if it's more than $10.50 he'd probably round up to $11.

I believe it was on An Evening with Kevin Smith where he said the line was improvised...just to give a point of reference. Apparently it made Kevin laugh so they worked the dialog in. The note behind his ear woulda been there whether the line was there or not.

Let us consider that in a trailer where everything "supposedly" happens for a reason, it seems unlikely that an improvisation will make it in.

As for 10.50, it might be that, but if someone asked to borrow 11 dollars I would give him a 10 and a 5.

Also, not a lot of things seem to sell for 11 dollars, usually 9.99, 14.99. or 12.99 (don't ask, its just numbers I see more often).

You might be right, but it's something we might want to keep an eye on.

Dont make fun of me, but to add to this ridiculous scrutiny, maybe a slusho drink costs something like $11. I had to say it, so stupid....sorry
