Is that an eclipsed moon, sun or whatever in the corner? And what is it with these guys taking pics that are so sh|tty? Remember when the first poster was discovered? It was distorted and crappy. And now this pic, twisted at a strange degree. Geezus people can't you stand in front of the G-damn poster and take a good pic?
If this had been such a great find why not take a few more seconds to take a decent picture. Unless of course it was done intentionally.

This looks more real than fake to me. I'm sure it isn't up in NYC yet, I haven't seen it around.

Yeah, I saw the Eclipse too! May just be a trick of light?
I also think the poster looks kinda real. I hope they log back on and let us know where they took the picture.

I'm going to guess Compton, it's in both his forum name and his photobucket name.
Something tells me he's in Miami... since his username is NYC and his location say's "New York City."

Tough crowd with this movie, huh?
Rabid is more like it. Pissing off nerds who are stuck behind computer screens in their moms basement is like pissing off a Nazi if you're a Jew... only you'll be facing a rash of angry internet dweebs who "yell" in all caps and challenge you to prove that a marketing scheme is a game versus guys with guns.
At this point I'd take the guys with the guns. They're less tweaky.

It started as a photo but it's been through Adobe Photoshop CS Machintosh. I'm not saying it's fake, just saying it's been touched.
I'd like to see the original. The one that's not "closeup."

Another Photo Another photo of that adshel, this time from further away. Hi again, I've added another photo onto photobucket. It's not the one my friend took its one from further away. I read one of the comments complaining about how there are never photos taken straight on. I posted the last one because it showed the writing more clearly than this one.
I'm not a professional photographer and this was taken on my phone so I can't help the image quality. I'm gonna go and play pool in a bit so I may try and take another photo but at the end of the day it's only a film so there's no reason to get so worked up about it is there!
Anyways, enjoy:

Well, that proves its a fake, you live in ny do you not.
Also, the reflection is fake and its a british bus stop
As you can see, it has the same yellow circles and timetable device
Edit: Oh, and that was taken on a phone, its so sharp you must a have a iphone.
And there is a better pic Here
Also note in that picture in the link above, the poster has the frame reflected aswell.
time for or [fanart] tags
And why monstor rather than monster?
also, eclipses can't be seen through thick clouds...
Anyway, could you whip up the building being torn down one, just to see your artistic skills.

I don't live in New York, I've never said that. I live in the UK hence the UK style bus stops.

Let's have a lil' look see here altrus eh?.
When does he say he lives in NYC?
Explain how the reflection is fake. I agree it looks funny, but I'm not an expert on light, so some illumination here would be nice.
Buck actually corrects himself in his first post by referring to the poster as an adshel, heck he's even put this in the title. Googling shows that an adshel is street furniture, bus stops are the most popular adshels.
I've had my HTC Blue Angel phone for nearly 3 years now, it can easily take a photo of this quality. I'm certain almost any phone made more recently would be able to reproduce this.
As for the eclipse and the word 'monstor' - if Buck is just passing info along, how can he be held accountable for it?
Another picture would be nice Buck, and thanks for the effort you've put in thusfar.

So the monster is... Sylar?!?
Sorry. I can't say I wouldn't be happy for Heroes: The Movie. Anyway, to my mind, this looks pretty legit so far. My big question is: why promote an American movie in a small, foreign town (unless its just one theater that got confused by what date they could put the poster up)?
As far as using Kanji, I can't personally read it. But the fact that it says "Monstor" is a little fishy. In "katakana" (a system the Japanese use to write American or foreign words) you could make the word "Mo-n-su-te-ru"... thus misspelling "monster" doesn't seem to be a function of the Japanese writing on the poster.
