Also--handlers change (for some) throughout the game. What if you're completely honest with one and not the other (since the question didn't specify "current handler")? Loophole there or just me?

I noticed that it gave me 40 prestiege, which massively bumped up my ranking (on pg 2 now, was on pg 6). Did it do the same for anyone else?

I wish I could take it. I have the credits. But still my karma eludes me. I think if I took it they would be more willing to move me to red or even yellow.
What is the point of prestige?

You could ask Foo to change your Karma. Though Foo is inactive, so it may take a while for Foo to change it.

Prestige indicates how famous you are in Deus City. NPCs will react to you differently based on your prestige. Altough, that what Deus City said, it is also possible that Prestige means nothing. Especially when you gain prestige just by posting on the IC Forums.

pretty sure prestige means nothing. most likely it is a mechanism for encouraging competition between players. if it is true that greater prestige unlocks other areas of the interface then my guess is that these 'unlocks' must be done manually by someone in the PM group - probably Chris or such - cause yeah. but for the most part it seems to not really do much.
