OK Save this pic to the pics on your computer. Open it up and zoom in a good two to three clicks and the pic becomes slightly clearer.
I see where you can see the "claw" and right now im 50-50 on wheter or not its a claw
Edit: make that 75-25 its not a claw, zoom in and you can see "it" right below the smashed area of the building

Now where in the world wide web is this claw?
I see a building with a big chunk out of it and some smoke.
Methinks people who are going to be super cautious with regards to new evidence should maybe guard their tongues/typing fingers better when providing a counterpoint.
The famous yellow paint of "Do you see what I see?" will be out before long.

Herm.. For a while there, I couldn't see the "demon in the hair" everyone thought they saw, (nor could I see the claw marks in the statue, actually) but I got a new laptop, and now it looks pretty evident. In the rubble there is a dark, three pronged claw. The bottom finger is almost an inch above the highest little red fireball. It even has some shadowing directly below it, indicating it is a shape above the buildnig, not something clawed into it.
Come on now. I'm skeptical about the demon thingy, but I'll be durned if there's not at least claw-marks in there.

questions To look beyond its legitimacy, cause I just believe its real, lets start to think about why they chose to push the street marketing in the UK before the US or even NY. Does the marketing team believe they need to gain attention in UK, which they might have here already? They did do the news trailer later then here in the US. Any thoughts?

True, 1-18-08 has had more than its fair share of fakes. Still, I don't want to automatically distrust what people post. We are good at sifting through information - but we have to get the info first. You guys all know very well that this is a community effort. To me, giving people the third degree when they share some new data may not be the most welcoming or beneficial way to approach them.
I think this is real, as I posted earlier.
If I'm wrong, it won't be the first time.

So the characters seem to be simplified Chinese, although I know Japanese and Chinese characters are virtually the same base set.
I haven't found the second small one, but I'm still left wondering - why advertise in Chinese or Japanese in a UK bus stop? Why have such a peculiar spelling as 'Monstor' in the UK?
Oh, and I found the characters and their meanings here:

Still don't get why 'river' is part of that.

FAKE, FAUX, NOT REAL! Despite all this, PHOTOSHOP does rock! It's just another reason that anyone, even Brits, can use Photoshop effectively.

Whether it's real or fake, WHO CARES? The movie comes out in about four months. Isn't that enough?

I'll go ahead and say this is real. Still, it's a little puzzling why Chinese characters would be included on a poster for the UK. I'd say it coincides with Rob going away to China in the movie but... he's going to Japan , not China.
I don't see the eclipse as being a major sign that it's fake. Why would someone make something fake then add something they'd have to know looks suspicious to it?
The building picture looks a little more suspicious however. It just doesn't look real to me. I'll go ahead and believe this guy though. If it's a fake, then one of the geniuses here will find the evidence leading to its exposure sooner than later. If it's real, then someone did a lazy job with these posters.
Also, if it's real, then I wouldn't be surprised that if in the next couple of days people from other areas of the globe start noticing posters popping up everywhere. But these adshels usually don't have posters for films until a month before they're released.

I think pushing it in the UK may be a large factor... there appears to be some disagreement as to whether the trailer's appeared in the UK at all outside of the Five News coverage, and even then the coverage itself was just before lunch and so would have been seen by a majority of people at home.
As for the use of Kanji, we've already seen the heavy Japanese influence in the Slusho site so if it's legit, which I'm willing to believe so at the moment, maybe someone's trying to evoke something?

I'm Certain its only been shown on five news, it wasn't at transformers.
so no, its got 0 publicity here.
Oh, and i can see a bit of a fake dropshadow in the frame of the second pic.
Can you get a clearer version from any other angles?
Also, that building looks a bit 'dull British concrete office' type.
so another pic of poster 2 please.

Don't let Pathfinder find out He'll take a fakey Hopefully we can get a couple more up soon.
that bus has a UK license plate, so it does seem as if the UK has started a poster campaign of some description.
What forum was it btw?
