Ideltech News Update May 3rd

May 3, 2004
Marty Manson began the "War on Terror" campaign in Europe with a bang by finding 200 new applicants for Ideltech Information. The convention was held in Frankfurt Hilton Monday at the 4th Annual International Job Fair. The effort was to find more bi-lingual and foreign language specialists

I wonder why Marty went since he seems to be the quiet one. I would have thought Jude or Marcus would have been a more natural choice. Do you think Ideltech will be doing the rounds at any of the US recruitment fairs? Just out of curiosity, where are the big US events held? In the all the major cities I guess Confused Does anyone know? Do you think that Marty might be planning to hit a number of fairs across Europe. London often has big events and Manchester has a graduate recruitment fair comming up on the 17 June. I wonder if there is anything in France, Holland or Germany?

They've actually been setting Marty to go to Germany since the beginning. Check out this post from April 1st.

Quote:
MarcusThesburg (8:39:33 AM): Jude is always available via email. He plans to do some conferences for some programmers. Marty is always doing his own thing and never checks his email. In fact, we have to pretend we are him from time to time.
MarcusThesburg (8:40:09 AM): But, he promised to do a demo in Germany. An AI demo for a friend of his.

I've always had the idea that the friend is Hans Racey. We know Marcus knows him from here and "someone" told enaxor that Marty was looking for Malynn (the ex Mrs. Hans Racey) (but that info is suspect now.)

I'm beginning to wonder if this little story line is gonna gain importance since it's been set up since the beginning. Ideltech does say in its news section that one of the offers for Ideltech involved $44 million in overseas stocks. Maybe Marty is going to see if they can up that?

Pfffrt, they at least could have invited me... I'm only about 150 miles away from Frankfurt... I could easily have gone to the conference Smile
