Wow, I'm kinda glad I wasn't around to get in on all this excitement. This was good enough to get my hopes up. Alas, my football teams managed to get them up and let them down enough this weekend, so I'm glad I caught it at the reveal.
Nice work, fellas!

Uh, that'd be me.
I speak truth and common sense when nobody wants to hear it, so I'm used to having blatant and accurate statements ignored. People love to tear into my weaker statements though.
Thanks for explaining the kanji, and the 2 large characters have a different pronunciation in Chinese but exactly the same meaning. I notice that nobody has decoded what was on my 'poster' yet.
I think this is all a good illustration of how to consider these images when people pop out of nowhere and post them.

I just wanted everyone to get along. hahahhaha

Shouldn't this thread get a [Humor] tag as well?

ooooh, you naysayers of naysayers.
I have to say, it was quite beautifully done. To get one poster from two different angles, etc. was pretty cool.
You have to admit, I got you on the Heroes ("the monster is Sylar!") reference.

I wanted people to think it was Heroes to keep them talking about that so that they'd ignore the poster was fake. But kudos on working that out.

LOL. No harm, no foul. It had me fooled for the most part but the (MONSTOR) title and chinese/japanese characters did confuse me enough to contemplate the trek into town.
Do I get half a kudos p(o)int?

What sort of disturbs me about all this is how many hits my 'Seattle bus stop' poster is getting. How long before that makes it's way back around as a 'new find'?

Not that far Buck- S8, just off Bramall Lane.
I was going to take a detour to a friends house to get hold of a decent camera so i could get loads of detailed close ups as well!

This is just too funny.
I lived in Manchester, England for four years so I learned quite a bit about English personality.
I'm glad I missed it though. I think I would have been too disappointed!

Good work there. I think this is gonna be the run of it till the actual film comes out, cheers for making the time pass by better.
Now who are you really?
-m0r
You're welcome!
My name's Drew really, Buck Compton is just a nickname - kind of after the guy from Band of Brothers and kind of from a tramp in Sheffield. It's a kind of heroic tramp hybrid.
Whereas I am a graphic design who designs film (and other things) posters for a living.
i knew it! i knew it!
ahh. i feel so vindicated.
