Level 15 big clue

Kimeexxx,

This is the answer (almost) to the next page where you will have to decode the two words. Careful if you want to keep looking for it on your own.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Enter the mirror word (unmirror it) on the first page as an answer i.e. xxxx.htm

Good luck and keep trying, Fredo

level 16 hint

Kimeexxx,

I had the exact same problem Confused
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You can use a printer (microsoft office picture manager can lighten up the picture easily if have it). Use a pen to trace over the red path, get it really black, you can then hold two pages up to a light). You need to know what to apply the coordinates to? The very first page is giving you a clue. Let me know if you need a better hint to find the last hidden page. Be careful, it has a message on it, it looks like a hint, but its the decode page.

How to use the coordinates without software.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I used simple math to use the coords. I printed the picture and measured it, getting 271x135 mm, corresponding to 600x300 pixels (used microsoft office picture manager). So the coord 260,120 would be (for the first number - 260) 271/600 X 260 = 117 mm. Measure 117 mm on your picture and you have coord 260. The other one will be 135/300 x 120 = 54 mm, so coord 260,120 on my picture was 117x54 mm

Research wavelengths a little - or rainbows! The lengths of the lines themselves are irrelevant...

level 70 help request

GreenWindmill,

Thanks for the help, can you let me know if i'm even vaguely on the right track, thanks again in advance.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I'm working on the first number of the pair corresponds to the colour???

The rainbow is, with respect to the colors on the second page red, yellow, green, pale blue, blue and purple. Red is the longest wavelength. So I'm giving the colors numbers red = 6, yellow = 5, green = 4, pale blue = 3, blue = 2 and purple = 1.

Since the starting point no. 1 doesn't have a purple (1) choice, what is the 1 (strength) part of 1,1 telling me or modifying the color? Dazed and Confuzed but working on it.

Level 20 hint

Kimeexxx

This one is tough. It took me a long time. It's not an obvious answer (such as the devil) but an actual historical character. Work on Google or Wikipedia. Getting the actual wording of his name is difficult as well, so keep trying.

Good luck

You're in the right ballpark but still slightly off...

The strength element is straightforward, your first instinct on that will be fine.

The bit I stumbled on for a long time was the wavelengths, spoilers ahead...

Spoiler 1

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Don't issue each colour with a specific number and stick to it. That was my biggest mistake.

Spoiler 2

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's all relative.

Giveaway spoiler

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The first number relates to the coloured path you should follow according to it's ranking compared to the other paths you could choose. So if the number is 1, you take the path with the shortest wavelength, if the number is 3, you take the path with the third shortest wavelength, etc.

The second number is as you'd expect - 1 = 1 line, 2 = 2 lines, etc.

Hope this helps. Apologies for the delay in replying, things have been hectic!

Level 77 hint request (Blue World)

GreenWindmill,

Thanks for the help it's much appreciated.

I need some gentle hints for level 77. I'm not sure where to start. There seems to be so much going on. Please take your time replying, there's no hurry. It'll give me time to work on it some more.

Cheers

I quite enjoyed this level so I'll try to make my hints gentle so I don't take away any of the satisfaction of solving. Very rapid progress between 70 and 77 by the way - nice, some of those were a nightmare for me!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The main aim is to "decode" the text at the bottom of the screen.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Each letter can be converted to a number. An example has been done for you...

That should set you in the right direction, happy puzzling!

Level 77 hint request (Blue World)

Thanks for the nudge. I just seemed to ??get?? some of the recent levels. I loved the alchemy riddle. I made some leaps of faith, particulary the three symbols. Don't really know how the middle one works. I just "thought like Dracula" and hit the answer. The aquatic hall bugged me for a while but finally saw the answer. The Blue World looked impossible at first but I think I have the logic right.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Thoughts on the Blue World. I can see four properties on the top row to give four numbers. the dARK - small, capital smudgy, capital plain, half and half properties looks a little difficult to work out. Does the h to 7033 eventually give L? If it does I've cracked it and just need to pull out the correct properties of the letters below.

Thanks again,

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If I remember the workings rightly the 7033 would eventually give K, but I can think of a reason why you'd suppose it might be L so I'm pretty sure you've got the final steps cracked.

Sound like you're on the right track with getting to the numbers too, and yes, the dARK bit was where I made a couple of mistakes but they became obvious once I'd finished decoding the whole thing.

I went through a similar process on the three symbols one - I got it very quickly by establishing what the outer symbols where and 'filling the gap' in the middle. Some post solve googling revealed the logic behind the middle symbol.

Level 80 (The Tower) help request

GreenWindmill,

Thanks for your help on 77. Took me a while, I didn't pay as much attention to the dARK subtleties as I should. Level 78 was interesting got ridiculously stuck, but laughed when I got the answer, had it all the time but was trying to hard to decode the whole thing.

The Tower - I'm stuck
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
She's back - I know who she is, got to the second page, but I have no idea how her name is different. Most choices are a one letter difference and they don't work after I've subtracted one name from the other? Now I'm wondering if it is something like "someone is back" minus "XXXXX is back" XXXXX being her new name?

Thanks in advance, Fredo

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
A little googling is all that's really required to find an alternative name for her - the source says something about "where you have been all along" - you already know about a link between this game and another...

Level 80 (The Tower) help request

Thanks for the help, I got her and her page.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I have four letters, but no vowels. However, I'm not getting anywhere? I've tried throwing in random vowels but can't pull anything out. Tried googling the letters but only get the computer conferences back as answers. I'm working with camilla minus ------- gives c---????? I'm assuming that the LL cancels out.

Thanks in advance.
