Well. I personally, do not have a program to steg images. But just a thought for those who do...

What if we stegged the image for eye, and earth pages on ayab?

I'm a bit clueless on de-stegging images. I have a program to do it but to my knowledge, it needs to be in gif or png or something (?) for it work. Since these are ripped from a .swf it's in .jpg.

I tried anyway Laughing and got nothing out of it.

lol thanks, its more like, welcome back! heh.. i was one of the many that was here at the beginning.. but since there didnt seem to be a real storyline, I sort of lost interest.. thanks for the links though, ill check em out now. Ill try to help when I can here and there. You know me, I can never just sit back and lurk... for some reason I always feel the need to add my two cents!

EDIT: The program I have only works for regular, stationary pics lol.. not ones that are on a loop. (im not great at the terminology, Im sort of new to this whole picture destegging)

Welcome Back, sMooTH. Good to know people are starting to come back. We sure need all the help we can get these days...

Now, regarding the stegging:
For a steg to work (or even be possible), you must have the photo file (usually in gif format). Just taking a screen shot of it won't necessarily reveal any steg, and images presented in a flash movie form are probably not stegged in the first place.

Unfortunately, I think the answer is, as always, a pretty obvious one that we're just missing being that our minds have been warped by Tom Tooman. Hence my glee at the expansion of our player base. I think clear minds will help us prevail Smile.

Regarding the password at the bottom of the Ayab.com page..

Ever single shot, has the mans arms in specific positions. Whoever said that they might be pointing to certain times on a clock, may have been on the right track. Of all pictures to use, why those 8? This could be the reason... im working on times for each arm as we speak.. ill keep you updated..

Heh, just here to help... and now that Im looking over those screen shots again, on the TT main thread.. there are a couple pics that dont show his hands.. which is leading me to believe that the positioning of the Raven could be important? In every single shot except for one, he is either in the 1, or the 11 slot. The pic with the raven on the windowsill is different. He is in the 9 slot for that pic. So that leaves two pics that are unique. the 9 Slot Raven pic.. and the Gold pic. Im not sure where to go from here but this could be significant.. any ideas?

Hmm... Not really.

BTW - I hope you know we've solved the ayab password.... It's "red earth".
But I still think these slides will lead us somewhere....

Just wanted to throw this out there about the AYAB password.
I don't think that it is the final password to the site as it only takes us to another picture of a raven carrying something in its beak.
I think that there may be at least one more password.
It's just something to keep in mind.

rubordernevermore
An alternate to AYAB?

As I keep going back to ayab to try to understand how it was supposed to be solved, I recalled the use of R U to replace "are you". I went to whois, and tried ruaborder with no hit, then tried it without the A.
rubordernevermore came up, registered with godaddy.
Putting Rubordernevermore in a google search yields this.

http://www.rubordernevermore.com/test.swf
typing in "red earth" we see the familiar raven flying away with the eye, not the earth. http://www.rubordernevermore.com/eye.html then then redirects to http://www.rubordernevermore.com/ruaborder.html

The first part of the picture show is different. It depicts the poem in order, as far as I can tell.
I don't know if this was meant to be found, but it's out there.

Incidentally, http://www.ruboardernevermore.com/ and http://www.ruboarder.com/ return Server Not Found.

eta: http://www.ruborder.com/ is also "server not found" but http://www.rubordernevermore.com/ redirects to http://www.blackhillsradiocontrol.org/index.html same as ayab does.

edit again to fix a spelling error

http://www.rubordernevermore.com/earth.html also leads to the same raven with the earth in its beak. Strange that the pics are in a different order, though.

the question at this point is did you stumble on a backup page, a test page, or the REAL redirect?

seems odd that it redirects to the radio control even when accessed on the rubordernevermore...
