You guys bring up great points. I was holding on to it being Jill Scott. I still think it might be, but if it isn't then they had a great double on hand. Props to them for that much.

But an "A" for effort!

For those still in doubt:

You can see from this screen shot of the REAL trailer, the NY1 graphics are all wrong:

the spacing is bad, especially around the time and "breaking news"
the fonts are the wrong typeface (especially the 69°, and the 1 in NY1)
the blue colors don't match
the yellow borders shouldn't go under "breaking news"

My favorite 1-18-08 website brings cold hard facts to the table.

I still say the woman bears an uncanny resemblance to Jill Scott, but I'm being convinced that it's a farce more and more as new posts come in. Between this and Buck_Compton's hoax, it's a little cool to see that this film is bringing out a creative side in its fans...

Can i give a special mention for acting prowess to the girl, who also is covered in flour, stumbling by the camera while the flour covered dude is being interviewed.

What shall we call these awards for cheesy fakes. The Pillsbury award? For those allergic.. the gluten free flour award?

A great job. indeed. Really though, how the hell are poeple saying this is Jill Scott from NY1. Some even say they watch the show. Sorry Guys but this isn't Jill Scott or any other NY1 reporter. Oh yeah and you can see the huge color difference. Yellow guys not Orange. Very Happy

heres jill scott matched up with the apparent jill scott look alike.

there's some definite similarities but my guess is that it's not her.

but theres enough already said about the trailer disproving it so i'll bite my tongue
