Who knows. I can't imagine anyone would want to be me.

grrr arg

Dunno if you guys really looked at the Mayday Mysteries site but I've noticed that the full puzzles the 'slices' are taken from look absurdly complicated. So complicated that none of them (that I can see) have ever been 'solved'! I mean, there are comments going back years and years on many of them, each offering bits and pieces of insight, but they have no clear message.

And yet that creepy little smiley-faced guy acts as a kind of 'signature' on each one.

So could instigationplus be one of the original designers of the Mayday Mysteries, I wonder? Or is it just some kind of strange sick joke, much like the original Mayday Mysteries appear (to me) to be - just a wild goose chase?

I wonder I wonder I wander...

I noticed the same thing when looking at the Mayday "puzzles". They're ridiculous. Can't wrap my mind around them at all. But I do think that the Mayday puzzles DO have something to do with it, as a number of them are on the LJ.

I hope this isn't a sick joke. It seems insanely interesting, and I'm trying so hard to piece together the pic slices.

Me thinks: Everything seems to point to either A) Mankind destroying themselves or B) A war against something extraterrestrial.

From the Maydaymystery site, this page is where about half the pic slices are from. And people have posted clues and stuff for it too: http://www.maydaymystery.org/mayday/texts/88-may1.html

The Kierkegaard quote is apparently danish and is translated to mean "The heart's purity is what He wants." or "The heart's purity confuses the eye."

Thats about as far as i read of the clues so far, but i think this should help

I was in the Mayday Mistery page like what, an year ago, and I just couldn't get it. Nothing makes sense to me in there.

And Morgan, that quote translation can be helpful.

So, yeah, I'm in for the theory that "instigator" studied a bit of the Mayday project, and took her time to crop what she needed, to show to us. But there are other images too, like the one with the orange eye and a pale face. Creepy.

Another translation from that MayDay link (THANK YOU!) has the quote reading: "Purity of the heart is to will one thing".

Also, the chemical is Cerubidine, and it is apparently used in chemotherapy.

Many posters post information useful to the slices we've found.

What if the puzzle itself isn't the key, but actually the date of May 1, 1988?

In that case, TO THE WIKIMOBILE!

Yep, I tried that too. Maybe not. Haha.

What's plaguing me is that we don't know what's important, the May, 1 1988 puzzle as a whole or just the bits and pieces shes sliced from it. Judging from the fact that she has other, unrelated slices, it's probably the latter

There are other things bothering me.

If he check her interests list, it's a very long one:

Quote:
4chan, 7chan, aliens, anime, anorexia, anxiety, arab, archaeology, art, astronomy, ballet, belly dance, bipolar, bulimia, cannibalism, chaos, choir, christianity, computers, conflict, conpiracy theories, conspiracies, control, creation, dance, death, depression, destruction, diana, discordia, dying, earth, education, elementary, eon8, epic fail guy, evolution, existentialism, fake, forgetfulness, gaia online, ghosts, god, goddess, guy fawkes, hatred, html, islam, jazz, jesus, judaism, judas, jupiter, learning, lies, lilith, lord, mabon, manga, mars, metatron, middle east, modern, music, muslim, neurocam, paganism, paranormal, philosophy, piano, poetry, programming, rage, ragnarok online, reiki, resolution, revolution, russia, samhain, satan, satanism, saturn, school, singing, space, tap, the moon, united states, us, vendetta, venus, violin, wicca, zeus.

I can understand the "moon", "united states", "destruction", "neurocam", etc, but, why "manga" and 4chan, for example?

Could be because of being easier to infiltrate several communities, if having these keywords in the list. Also, 4channers are known not just because of the "anon raids", but also because of several texts they write, like "The Holders" series, good stuff.

One link gives access to Encyclopedia Dramatica (for those who don't know, it's a parody and heavy NSFW sattire wikipedia based on internet events). I happen to go to ED very often. So, why a link to Encyclopedia Dramatica?

Sounds like we're nearing the point of needing a wiki to keep track all this.

I thought those interests were simply to get more people who were randomly searching for their interests. Or maybe they are truly just her interests. She could be a 4/7channer or... not. Who knows.

I don't think they are really important to solving... Whatever this is.

Two more of the slices are from here: http://www.maydaymystery.org/mayday/texts/00-dec6.html

This seems so impossible to figure out!

I vote for extraterrestical war....

I think the ED link is a trap...

Ancient technologys and this maya plane things ... ok
Maya, Ancient technology and the possiblke alien theme seems to fit.

Destruction of law and this USA politics criticic homepage... would be fine with the world war III theme... It could even fit with an secret invasion of bodysnatchers from out of space or something like this.

But random explorations? And then a random article from this exagereted wiki... Every second article from this wiki could be misunderstand as the part of something that is ot a game... So I vote for a trap.

About the interest. IF this is a clue it is to early to know what it means. We have to wait and when we know more the interest groups could make sense.
Again sorry for my english... You know german speaker bla blah blah

I'm curious as to why she was making her binary posts 'n' such in the occult lj comm? I guess, maybe to pull people in, but seems like more people were complaining then interested.
