I think the title of threads matter. I think the PMs probably care if someone calls their forums the "official" in-game forum.

I guess I'm not getting an answer to my question. Or maybe the answer to the question is that these new forums are fan forums, with the difference being that in-game characters can post there if they want to

I thought perhaps a player messaged a character about some forum where that player hangs out and the character agreed to meet them there... or something like that, had happened.

It would be very cool to figure out a way to get character to post on a forum that fans create and keep it still in-game.

Come on guys, don't give me so much grief about it being "official". This was more or less decided upon in the IRC yesterday (read the logs) by a group of us, and I'm just offering it up as an option. It seems that things are going fine here and there may not be any need, but it's still open for people to try out and use.

No, this wasn't from contact with a character. This was just from me saying that I could setup a forum so we could get more organized back right before this was moved to CF With Potential.

Cut me some slack and read the logs! Sheesh Smile
