I agree it's a very important for us to figure out who the 2 people are and how it ties into the kidnapping. But I don't think its directly related to finding this next password. My guess is it has to do with thw quote

Quote:
"So I sat in the house
All that cold, cold wet day."

It could be referring to a specific date (10/10/06, 5/11/07?) or pointing us to another line from the Cat in the Hat. Not sure exactly havent found any sites yet, and obviously couldnt get any passwords to work. I am guessing though that the password will be relatively short. Not a long line of a book I bet.

I just sent smooth a general hint - do you want it?

ok

tom:
Yes. That's exactly what I'm saying. I'm also saying it has nothing to do with the next step. And the password is not an anagram either. This one is different.

Nicole:
my best guess is that it has to do with this: "So I sat in the house

tom:
Nope, it has nothing to do with the Dr. either.

Nicole:
hm then i guess i am way off

tom:
well, it never hurts to go back to the drawing board

So the password is not:
-an anagram
-related to HEM
-related to Dr. Seuss

Just for reference, "different" and "drawing board" don't work either. Smile

well isnt that just a kick in the nuts.. the only other thing it could be related to is either "it will be yours to make" or.. i dunno

see what happens when you switch to gmail and then back in the same day?? lol i missed that email from Tom.. lemme go check to see if that was the only reply..

Hmm.. "yours to make" "drawing board"... see a pattern?

EDIT: Ok, so Drawing board made me think of paintings.. and as far as paintings go, at least recently, there was one that we never figured out where it came from.

It was the "R" in the INRI page (8 of Spades Flikr):

http://flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=421859058&size=o

The code beneath the painting was solved, but we never found out the name of the painting, who painted it, or what "Costat.ino 'polimi" is. It could be the creator.. but I cant find his name on google.. yet at least. what do you guys think?

If costatino 'polimi isnt the creator, babel fish is screwin with me.. im workin letters around to translate.. check this:

costa ti no 'poli mi

comes out to..lol get this..

coast you not ' poles me

i definitely think im on the wrong track here...

ok i checked out costatino polimi - nothing on google. also, some parts of the mosaic look really badly shopped. what do you think?

i anagrammed the phrase in case he had added that. the words mosaic, tom, politics, italics, location and a whole load of others are in there. however, there are over 60000 anagrams.

neil

Tom said this one is different and its not an anagram.. i looked for the creator of that mosaic for a long time to no avail.. the only thing that drew me to that picture was his usage of the words "drawing board"... drawing board=easel? plus that was one of two of the INRI pics that we couldnt find the name of, the other one was with the monks and the crosses i believe..

it definitely is odd that, IF costatino polimi IS the name of the creator.. that he would write his name SMACK in the middle of the mosaic.. it almost seems like it was added in, like neil said.

I tried to desteg with all ROT's of the King of Diamonds keycode upper and lowercase. I thought maybe we had to go back to the original code since he said to go back to the drawing board.

The image says kidsdrawingpicTDC. If a child did indeed create that picture than it would be perfectly logical for them to emblazon their name across the front of it as kids often do.

Was bored so I researched the phrase Back to the Drawing Board:

Quote:
Back to the drawing board

Meaning

Start again on a new design - after a failure of an earlier attempt.

Origin

This term is been used since WWII as a jocular acceptance that a design has failed and that a new one is needed. It gained common currency quite quickly and began appearing in US newspapers by 1947, as here in the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin, Washington, December 1947:

"Grid injuries for the season now closing suggest anew that nature get back to the drawing board, as the human knee is not only nothing to look at but also a piece of bum engineering."

It was well-enough known by 1966 for it to be used as a title for an episode in the 'Get Smart' TV series, and has also been used as the title of several books.

A drawing board is, of course, an architect's or draughtsman's table, used for the preparation of designs or blueprints.

The phrase originated as the caption to a cartoon produced by Peter Arno (Curtis Arnoux Peters, Jr.), for the New Yorker magazine, in 1941. The cartoon shows various military men and ground crew racing toward a crashed plane, and a designer, with a roll of plans under his arm, walking away saying, "Well, back to the old drawing board".

EDIT: Yeah, I have nothing. Oddly enough I had tried Dr. Seuss quotes switching out Sally's name for Sue's. I spent the last couple hours re-reading the events that led us to Mr. Cesear but I didn't find anything of importance.

LOL im sorry dude I should have told you, I was the one who renamed it "KidsDrawingPicTDC" so it would be easier to find when I was attempting to desteg every pic related to THP..lol lol oh man im sorry... the original file name for the pic is:

"421859058_90a5714142_m.jpg" <-- with a title like that, there would have been no way in hell id know what the pic was on my computer, without having to actually open it.

Do you guys think theres any significance to THAT title? Hm Im gonna check it out, worth a shot..

421859058 90a5714142 m <-- looks like ascii? eh ill let you know if i find anything...

EDIT: Hey quick question: where would I be able to download a video made by the CM, or TDC? I want to have it on my computer, and I remember someone mentioning a site where the videos are posted where you can download them... anyone? bueller? bueller? bueller?

While it wasn't me in the first place who told you, I can try to refresh your memory Wink ...

I personally prefer using keepvid.com (which leaves you with a flv-file, which you may have to convert for editing purposes).

You might be thinking of vixy.net, which claims to convert them online... But it failed a few times when I tried it.

Oh, and back to the drawing board might lead us back to the (and feel free to trout me if this is redundant info) playing cards...
