The poem seems to be referencing the Chinese takeover and trade embargo, (i.e. Free Tibet), the mind lives as the body dies is Bhuddist thinking, from which rose the idea of reincarnation, and the enormous five might reference the Himalayas.

So therefore, I think the answer is either Tibet, Dhali Lama, China or the Himalayas.

Just wanted to go back to the book puzzle a quick second ... for whatever reason, Bob choose to ignore the word "INSTRUCTION" at the top. The only reason I figured that out was because of the 3.27.1 ... there's only one line that has that many words in it. I did the first four letters that way, and it spelled "FOLD", so I thought I was on the right track ... until the next twelve or so letters were gobbledygook. So I started looking elsewhere. It wasn't until I went back and tried straight cryptogram breaking that I realized that the END of the sentence made sense.

(er, SOME sense)

I'll go back and look, I know there were some weird bits (like having to count numbers (50?) and the good doctor's middle initial as words, if everyone wants.

Has anyone been able to suggest Tibet/China to Bob? It could also be a reference to Nepal and the five peaks Kangchenjunga. The point is, I think it's related somehow to the Himalayas.
