Hiro Takahashi is probably either a nod to Hiro, from heroes (since jj and the heroes guy have that love affair with each other's work) or Hiro Takahashi, a Japanese musician. Interesting what he writes about, that they discover compounds and specifically test them to cure cancer.

hi, first of all i'm new to this.

the drilling at the Chuai Station, nearest to the USA and New York and the fact that it starts so close to the actual disaster date puts things into perspective as to why this creature from the depths attacks New York. Its the closest land mass to where i think it is disturbed by the drilling off shore.

I think that all of the special ingredient mentioned in other topics, have run dry, hence why there are so many drilling stations around the globe. It seems like it was only a matter of time before the Tagurato Corp disturbed something and it in return, sought revenge.

I beleive this is a big find, seems authentic. I have been following everyones investigative work over the past month or so and thought i'd join in the action at this stage. Well done so far guys

All the names of the 14 Drilling platforms seem to be names of Japanese Emperors, historical and/or mythical.
