Not only was this site a lucky find found via a certain someone's hardwork, but it also has many pages that, once developed, could answer alot.

But as far as updates go, I'm wondering when the heck we're going to find out the title to this film? Heck, I'll be fine if we don't get to see the monster until the movie. Fine, keep that suspense going. But at LEAST tell us what to call the darn thing. How long is JJ Abrams going to drag this out?

Well, I dunno about the whole naming thing. I mean, we've all come to know it as 01-18-08, Cloverfield, slusho etc. how many people would call it by its 'true' name. For me, this movie already has a name: 01-18-08.

am entering this thread late and have not read all posts so forgive me if I am redundant. But I ordered a t-shirt and a hat from slusho and they arrived at my home today. The package was sent via priority mail from South Carolina. When I opened it I found that two pieces of newspaper had been stuffed in the box on either side of my merchandise. The newspaper pages are printed in japanese. There are a few things printed in english. One, and I am not at home right now so I can't remember the name exactly, was that name of a marine management company. When I googled it A link to the company website popped up. I clicked on it and it looks remarkably like the Tagruato Corp. website. I think this sit is a real site however, and not part of the viral campaign. But the site may have been used as a template for Tagruato. When I get home later I will post the name of the company for ya'll.

It's funny you mention that, W. Some people think that that SHOULD be the name of the film. They say it has an ominous feel to it.

But I have two concerns:
(1) So many people are waiting for the REAL name, that if they say "Oh, it's 1-18-08. Thats the real title", people will getting real ticked off. All the suspense for no pay-off, they might say.
(2) What if they make a sequel? "1-18-08 2" would sound really stupid.

But yes, I agree. That would be a good title.
