Yeah. The Bloop! that has for the longest time been a mystery in terms of where the sound came from. It may been an inside joke, or it may be an OOG site that is just trying to pull our legs. Either way, it's an interesting tid bit.

When you say an OOG site, do you mean www.youcantdrinkjustsix.com or the site it defers to? Because the site it defers to is defiantly OOG.

But still there does seem to be a connection between the Bloop and the monster.

I was referring to the defferal... maybe an in-game figure organised it to give us a clue? or then again maybe the admin of http://www.pmel.noaa.gov/vents/acoustics/sounds/bloop.html is just a 1-18-08 fan and bought the domain name.

Anyway stay tuned to this thread... I just got a message back from Rob (see pages 10 & 11) on MySpace... doing the transcript and screenshots now.... VERY excited

Can we assume by the info above that these sites were registered by brothers, or father-son, either real or fictional? The last name is the same ("Kagashima") as is the postal address for the Slusho Whois and the Tagruato Contact (but the Tagruato Whois postal address is different). I'm looking it up and down, but I'm not seeing much. Any help?

P.S. - Colby, I think he was talking to me.

EDIT: I was just looking over it. I wonder if this Daiske guy is a fake. Not character-wise, but as in OOG-wise. I wonder if some fan thought, this'll be fun, and made a site registered to the same postal code as the Slusho! site. If this Tagruato site is a fake, it's a darn good one.

Has anyone tried calling the phone number on the contact info from the Tagruato WHOIS? 8105805681
Address and info are the same as on the website but the number is different. Or did anyone have any luck calling when it was found from the Slusho WHOIS, that number had a "." instead of a "0".
I've never called Japan before but as far as I know the number would be 011 81 3 8105805681, correct?

Sorry about the wait... Microsoft paint decided it wanted to uninstall, and then I had to use Macromedia Freehand to save the screenshot, which takes like 10 mins to load on my crap computer... it was worth it though...

Here is a transcript of message:

Subject: RE: hey man... got some info for you
Body: Hey colby....

Not sure I remember you from anywhere little man.... Do you live in NY? Were you at NYU?
Anyway... I'm sorry if I've forgotten you; I'm real bad with names. If you do know me then you should know that I'm already working with Tagruato... I've been with them for two months now- I started as an intern. I work with slusho and paraFun... what are you looking into? If you like... I think I could organise a meeting with Ganu... lucky for you we're pretty close. Did you say you worked on the widmore race?... I had a friend who raced in that.... Do you know Gareth?

Anyway if you want to apply just send me your resume and I'll see what I can do. They're looking for marketting roles now in paraFun more so than slusho. Also, with the new station up and running, I've been told they're looking for NY residents *if that is what you are!*.

Thanks for the message!

Rob

Hey man read ur profile... I know you've just finished your stuff with marketing and I found this on the net..... www.tagruato.jp

go to the 'slusho' section in subsidiaries... they're lookin for western marketers dude!
Listen... I know a guy who knows a guy that works with slusho over in japan.... he said they'rll b big bucks in western marketting of the drink.... the Asians are crazy over the stuff apparently.

Anyway, I've sent them an e-mail to apply myself.... they dont give much info but hopefully they'll reply soon... I told them about my work with the widmore race and alike.

Anyhoo... check it out man.... you may have a future in this sort of thing!

So Rob is already working for Tagruato?

EDIT: Sorry, I've been working in overdrive for awhile now and probably will be 'til the end of the year (I work retail) so I've missed most of what's been happening lately.

Rob writes, "If that is what you are" meaning an NYC resident. I think TPTB are reading this forum. Ha, they read your plan. Sly devils.

lol hmmm.... yeah I'll see if I can get to know him well enough to be invited to his surprise going-away party on the eighteenth of january next year... lol

Interesting that he says:

I think he is telling me something... if he is an in-game employee he must know I was referencing LOST.

I am currently thinking on what to reply.... any ideas?
