If I understand it right theburiedfilm posted a bulletin with the subject "prize?" saying "what is the prize" on the vid that mycreativeimpulse linked to above.

Attempting to narrow down the woods (it's been done before Wink

) in case anyone wants to dig it up (incidentally, take a bigger shovel than the one he used to bury it) they're coppiced and must therefore have some active management in place and the soil seems to be clay rich. Sure there're some more clues in it. Rand0m - you still got your trowel?

Wellll, for all it's worth, listenng to the audio, I hear someone at the end say "It's one of them". No clue how this helps anything.

Well, if you listen, I would say it sounds more like "it's one of THEM", I can't explain but more like it's refering to a person who might be coming.

i asked what he meant by east and west, but he just repeated.
"spread the word East and west"

capital E narrows down possible forests to it being in the east?

I found theburiedfilm on this site:

I created an account. It's the same movie. Looks like a site where people post their creations, and other people can review them.

The movie was posted September 21st. Also, it looks like this guy's account was suspended because he had multiple accounts.

He also wrote two reviews for other movies, and he got in a fight on their message board for "spamming" his movie all over the place. I guess the lesson to be learned here is that not everyone is an ARGer. We look at this and say "ARG". Other people look at it and say "spam"...

Anyone heard anymore on this? The site now says "The cause and the film can be found if you search East and west."

Again with the capital E on East.

This really doesn't seem like enough to go on :/

Yeah, I agree. I wish he'd give us a bit more than 'East and west' though. If he's gonna be THAT obscure he needs a real team of dedicated 'players', which, meh, he doesn't seem to have.
