I was looking at the following image:
http://tagruato.jp/images/ganu_ceo.jpg
And noticed the symbol on the table, just subtle enough to be a clue. It shows 2 hands holding up the Earth.
You can see the logo clearly here:
http://tagruato.jp/images/tagruato_screen_bw.gif
Atlas is a Titan from Greek mythology, charged with holding up the sky (although he is commonly associated with holding up the Earth, this is actually incorrect). We can assume that this logo might be a reference to Atlas's commonly misconstrued curse (that of holding up the Earth). I don't know if this has any real possible connection to the monster...but I thought I'd bring it up.
This whole thing is got so much info so fast. I'm having a hard time catching up

When was this used on the site?
I don't think it has been (yet??).
That and this were found (I forget who ) in the source codes for the site if I'm correct.
I know that, the page I found was found by a copy and paste mistake when I wanted to check out some of the logos from the source code.
I was surprised when it showed up, and since it showed up, I'm wondering if it means anything.
Oh sorry (@ least something interesting came of the blunder)…
I tried to be careful too…
I deleted as little as possible.
This - http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=21309&start=60 and this - http://tagruato.jp/images/bold_futura_logo.gif were found by Red Walrus and Jawbone on this page originally - http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=21309&start=60 (or page 5 of the cut and paste)
Here are all the image files I have seen (that still work)…sorry they're not linked

E2c…
The logo your referring to is the last one on the list.

Anyway, can anyone makes sense of this?

There's some sort of wierd code. I remember a while ago people talking about code acting as a place holder and meaning nothing, but I thought that was about something to do with the drilling stations.
That's the code behind the image bold_futura_logo_3.gif . If you were to open the file in a text editor you would see the same thing. In fact, open any image in a text editor like notepad and you'll see the same type of thing.
What they were talking about was random text generated by the flash file as a placeholder.

anyone know which portion of the world is shown in the following logo behind the character:
http://tagruato.jp/images/paraffun_logo.gif
or if it is not a globe behind the character what is the image within the sphere represented by the different tones of brown?[/url]

I'd like to note that the two Slusho logos are not precisely the same.
They are different in size, both rendered and as files. The smaller image is actually the larger file. I loaded that into Adobe to see if it was an animated gif with the timing turned off, but it would appear it's not. Haven't played with the larger image.

I was wondering about this and I think you just answered my unasked question. The swfs on slusho have been decompiled recently then right? I had some trouble accessing them other than the main container swf. The FF extension I'm using only d/l's what's embedded.
I have to think back to the old Slusho zoom discussions that might be an indicator to "zoom" in on something from slusho. Maybe it wasn't availible now or before but possibly in a future slusho.jp update?
Nice to see someone still following this one

Sorry Euchre
Didn't mean to mislead.
I was referencing the graphic of the gif...the two Slusho!'s being the same,
as opposed to the parafFun(s) & bold futura(s) being distinctly different.
If any one has anymore gifs or jpgs from the source post 'em if you want and I'll edit them onto that list.

I didn't think you were trying to mislead us, just that you might have missed that they weren't just duplicates of the exact same image. When I saw the disparity in file sizes and that the smaller image was the bigger file I had hopes that I'd found something of an easter egg - but alas no such luck, at least so far.

Just checked over everything on ParafFun's section on Tagruato.jp, you know the part that has things like "Making shiny candles? ParafFun!". Well all of the ParafFun things it mentions are indeed paraffin uses. That page reads a little too much like the wikki for paraffin if you ask me. However, on the subject of moderating neutrons it seems that the only mention of paraffin being used for this purpose was James Chadwick's 1932 experiments to identify the neutron. It seems that since then they have used something called "heavy water" and boron free graphite among a few other things but no mention whatsoever of anyone using paraffin for moderating neutrons for almost 70 years. Why would a paraffin maker even mention their product being used for something that it has apparently been obsolete at doing for well over half a century?

I/d/r/k...
The page and product advertisement always seemed to me a bit silly (hence ParafFun ).
Considering the contrast of moderating neutrons and testing samples in infrared spectroscopy against "improved bowel movements" and making crayons, potentially the inference is present to serve as a catalyst for a witty attempt @ humor and nothing more.
Perhaps ParafFun wax distributors are implying that their particular brand of paraffin wax is revolutionary and far superior to standard paraffin and can equal the efficiency of "heavy water" and boron free graphite when experimenting in the moderation and identification of neutrons.

I think those that created the site looked up the paraffin wikki and used its laundry list of uses without actually doing any research beyond that.

I think it is a globe, centered over Japan or the Pacific Ocean.

I was thinkin' that as well.
Although that would place Australia below the mascot's feet and the tip of Cali to our right (Mascot's left).
If that's the case, what should be the tip of Cali looks more like a misplaced Australia in terms of shape.
It may just be a loose rendition of a 2-D globe...

It could be the Pacific if the equator runs behind where the character is standing.
