Box of tissues, as well as odd looking lamp in both vids.
Hah ha! I was right, it was an oil lamp (it looks kinda weird as it's missing the larger, frosted white diffuser shade).

Oh and by the way, this may be a long shot. But could teddy be short for Johnathon?
Where on Earth did that conclusion come from?
Teddy is short for Theodore, like President Theodore Rooservelt.
I also figure the December 9th date would relate to an online trailer release if it is the promised trailer Abrams mentioned back at Comicon. It's reasonable given it'd be a little less than a month to the American cinematic release.

There's this riddle, "What did the silly comedian bake on his day off? Answer - Cornbread."
There's probably one with Six Times, too.

Does anyone have good video editing to zoom in on that table and also that frame hanging on the wall. The table to the far back was on right.

Given the quality of the video it's unlikely anything significant or detailed could be gotten from the framed item hung above her right-hand bedside table.

She said the answer was 6 , there are also 6 slusho flavours and the box is in slusho colours with a bow thing on top that looks very much like the DSI . Perhaps (as someone has said0 the present is actually the Slusho mixing kit.
I'm gonna try and make a robot on the Slusho site that has the same colouring as the box and see if anything comes up (might be a wild goose chase but it's worth a look).
Edit: Damn just realised the box is all blue.

As far as the present goes, I sincerely doubt that its *just*, say, the release of a trailer (though that may happen on the same date) since that makes no sense to the narrative.
In fact, to ask someone to wait to open a present pretty much means one of two things: you're waiting for a big event (like, "save that present until christmas, cause i'm too cheap to buy you another gift then") or because you want to be there when she opens it.
I really think it's something *like* concert tickets, or something else that implies something they'll do that night, together.
He's coming back on the 9th, very probably from Japan.

Here's a scary thought:
what if the gift is an antidote?
Since we're all speculating wildly here: what if Teddy works for Tagruato, and what if he's a sinister bastard who's using Jamie as a guinea pig for the DSI or whatever? And he just wants to see what happens to her between now and 12/9/07 as part of his twisted experiment, and she'll be forced to open the gift on that date just to get the antidote to whatever the hell happens to her?
Yeah, a long shot...but it's sick 'n' twisted. Might be fun.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ good thought, but im still not sold on the whole slusho turns you into something. Just not my cup of tea. I think slusho will play a simalar role to that of appollo candy bars in lost. I didnt follow it, but appollo took a back seat right?

I kinda agree, i think slusho was our link to the tagruato corp and their drilling operations off the coast of the US, but i still think the slusho is going to play an important role in this ARG. We just don't know enough yet to say what will and won't play a full part, though.

Japan? Vodka Cran? What? Do we have any hint that Teddy is anywhere near Japan? I haven't heard one reference to thing; except wild assumptions (no offence).
She's definitely not drinking a Vodka & Cran. Two drinks my wife enjoys very much are Vodka & Crans and Cherry 7up. This drink's color is closer to Cherry 7up (w/o all the carbonation); light pink ... just like White Zin.

Right away I thought maybe you need to click on something at the Slusho! site 6 times (I know there is nothing in the depiled files).
Then I thought cornbread = on red crab
So I clicked on the red crab in history six times and looked for changes but haven't found anything yet. Will keep looking
(maybe zoom 6 times on crab?)
[EDIT] What?, It's not cornbread now?

I think before she whispers it sounds to me as if someone off camera is feeding her lines. It doesnt look to me like her mouth moves to the sound she makes, and that it sounds like a man speaking.
