[SPEC] Hawk's Slusho and the Snickers War Revisited

Okay, another round of speculation here.

Hawk's Slusho

We know that on Hawk's June 2 blog entry, he "chugs a Slusho."
We know from Tagruato.jp that Slusho hasn't hit Western markets yet.
But:
If Rob already works for Slusho's marketing division (as many of us think), then Rob would be privy to all kinds of promotional stuff (swag), like free T-shirts and Slusho samples.

This would explain how Hawk got a Slusho T-shirt (in the trailer) and Slusho drinks, that aren't being marketed in America yet.

After "chugging that Slusho," Hawk then proceeds to watch a "Sopranos" marathon on A&E. Is that an effect of the Slusho drug? Did it zombie him out, or make him wide awake, or instill feelings of violence in him (ever watch Sopranos...???), or whatever?

Also:

Snickers War Revisited

A few weeks ago, Hawk and Hud engaged in a short little flamewar that I call "the Snickers war." (For those that didn't catch it: Hud came home, found out that someone had been eating his French bread pizza and frozen Snickers ice cream bar; he accused Lil and Hawk of scarfing them; Hawk got pissed and threatened Hud with bodily harm; and Hud threatened to "lick three things" of Hawk's while the latter was out of the apartment.)

So.
Could one of those three things be Hawk's Slusho stash?

Just wondering....because now -- in addition to wondering just what exactly are the bizarre effects of DSI (Slusho's "secret ingredient") -- I'm also wondering how many of the Slusho Seven are already under Slusho's influence.

I'm saying that, so far, it's Rob, Hawk, Hud, and Jamie.

And I think Slusho may already be altering their personalities and/or their bodies.

Comments?

Personality? Well if it can make you laugh and dance in front of old people, yeah, it changes your personality.

Physical appearce? Possibly but as a personal opinion, no. It's been released in Japan for a while and people would've noticed.

by altering bodies, i don't think they meant appearance.

Maybe strength/etc.

Could the slusho be giving her a bladder infection? allergic reaction?

Yeah, that's more along the lines I was thinking.

True, there *could* be some outward physical signs of Slusho addiction (like a crackhead's blue lips or a cokehead's nosebleeds)...but I'm thinking more of what it's doing inside their bodies. Like maybe what could be affecting Jamie's bladder, for instance.

Well in the last video Jamie seemed a lot more desperate, it's almost as if she has gone cold turkey from slusho (which rob can get a hold of) and is now waiting for him to get back so she can get more.

Could be love, but hell, that doesn't help my theory. Laughing

We know from Tagruato.jp that Slusho hasn't hit Western markets yet.

Slusho!'s unavailability in the States is speculation...conceivable, but speculation nonetheless.

Based on the Slusho subsidiary page in the Tagruata site we can safely assume the marketing campaign for Slusho! is not yet under way in the west.

* Edit - And even that's faulted...shirts & hats have been shipped out of North Carolina since (early August) shortly after the Slusho! website was created in July.)

Perhaps we're supposed to follow as if it's just not available in our town yet, etc.. But it seems like IG it may be "available" in NYC as we speak.
Either way, someone in NY has access to slusho right now (IG).

Although Alias had no ARG or viral campaign, are we to borrow from that reality and follow as if Slusho! is already available and distributed in select (random) convenient stores, and a search is on for top marketing professionals who will insure it's success in the West will rival that of its success in Asia, causing it to be a staple in every 7-11, etc.
(Tagruato - Our aspiration is to one day place Slusho! dispensers in every convenience store and mini mart..) ??

This is actually a really good point unless he ordered it off Slusho.jp… (he's wearing the shirt on January 17, '08 )

The fact that Hawk opted out of looking for a job certainly seems to give credence to his slothfulness. (bum)

Hawk's actions in his blog are stated with such nonchalance...it sorta contradicts (though admittedly not completely) the test market and promotional big brother borrowing theories...

Just seems like he assumes peole know WTF a Slusho is!

* Is he immune to the energetic effects of the miracle slush for some reason??
Everybody else who drinks it is consumed w/ a rush of strength, feeling of youthfulness, superior power, euphoria...

For the third straight summer, the Slusho! fueled Lions became league champs…
The game was called midway through the 4th inning… thanks to four homeruns by slugging first baseman, Fudo Goto, 11.

"I hit the ball far," said a jubilant Fudo following the game.

Lions pitcher Masakuzo Endo (8-0) had nine strike outs and thirteen hit batsman.
