-She is "friends" with Marcus Thesburg
-She is not to be trusted: her email sent to you was bcc'd to Steven
Lake
(of Landau, Luckman and Lake) and Marcus Thesburg
-She appears to be playing the field, not particularly loyal to any
group,
but in my opinon, more loyal to Mr. Tidwell


Funny how quickly information can be found Ms. Grenfell. Such a shame
your on the wrong side of the fence.

I think someone gave this info to her.
Because how would she know all this stuff about me and the game characters?

And I am not an employee ( for the thousandth time) so she couldn't get the info from Sandy.

I wasn't on Marcus' side but I am now.

And when I find out who the traitor is....

On the other hand, maybe someone found a good way to reach her??
My approach didn't work at all.

I agree, and unless the traitor is an insider from Landau, Luckman, Lake, I don't really think this is fair play... the information quoted in the mail, and most significantly the bit about the bcc to Steven Lake, was only available here on the uF boards afaik, and if the boards are considered a non-gaming-area, information posted here shouldn't be used in-game... not even by "traitors" among the playerbase. I would consider that walking a pretty thin line...

The PMs do have access to any and all correspondance that she has with any in-game character. They wouldn't need to look here, methinks.

I hope there is a traitor, otherwise it sort of breaks the reality for me. Just because the PM has access to the in-game characters' emails doesn't mean each in-game character should know what the PM knows.

So that being said, if we look at this like real life, how would Alecia find this info? Is a traitor the only option? A traitor here at UF? Or a traitor in L3?

Not all the stuff that was in the post was in email or chats with characters. I am sure of that. Some had to be from chat--be careful in #ruaware-- or from the board. No one character knows all that stuff, particularly about Thad as I never mentioned him to Marcus or Steve Lake. And, vice versa, I think.

I am convinced it is a player or more than one player who has found an effective way to communicate with her, which includes giving her information about me, only because I emailed her. Other players may have the same problem, but I am the only one who posted the email they sent to her ( I think).

1.Maybe someone wrote to her and said, I have information about the person who emailed you..... to prove their good faith

2.Maybe someone is selling information to her.

In any case, I doubt that person would come forward now. Smile


Now that I think about it selling info would be a good approach. But it's too late for me to try it . Also it just isn't who I am, so I don't think I could pull it off convincingly.

I think we need to figure out who Alecia Church's targets are...who has sent her emails? I have posted mine, but I haven't received any emails from her with personal info...come to think of it, I did get that email about me living in Victoria, BC. So, I guess she could have gotten that info from a spy.

I think there are several options we could consider. Sandy could have access to Marcus' emails and records, so she could have seen the cc email from Rose. As I told Rose earlier today I think it is conceivable that Ideltech has used Tobi to gather information on it's employees and anyone else that has shown interest in the company or Marcus. They have to make sure they aren't hiring the enemy. Wink Again that information could be available to Sandy, who has passed it along to Ms. Church. Then again we could have a spy amoung us.

We just can't assume that there is no other way for them to get this information without coming to the boards.

That's the sort of thing I would do, BUT if I did, it would be strictly a different approach to the game, not an attack on you or anyone else :/ And if I did, I would have definitely shared the information.
