Lucky Covet Ad

Quote:
grrr...this is the third time writing this.
I was looking back through the Lucky Covet ad from the stickers and trying to make sense of the some of the clues on there to see if they would be useful but got nothing.

When I peeled off the sticky paper a new phrase was on one of the clues that translated said "It is the perfect crime!" So that got me thinking that maybe the other little phrases meant something. The pic I was looking at is mainly comprised of a map with two circles on it. One circle with an X in the middle has a phrase which translated to "It is one of the possible places to hide the jewel!" and the other to "We gild made sure that we are of 12 pm" (??). Theres also a calendar to the left of the map with the 10th and the 29th circled but I can't tell the month, and two more phrases that I can't make out (Drat my no-magnifying-glass-having home!)

On one of the phrases it looks like "le perla" is in the middle which my online french dictionary said meant beaded. And it looks like the numbers 53, 20 [could be (1) or (2)], 33, and 40.

There are also 3 half cut off pics on the bottom and the 1st looks like a pic of the broken glass from the crime scene, the second a shot of a city and I can't make out the 3rd.

Do you think this is anything? I know we only have 1 challenge to go, but you guys said you were bored!

Hey ginia180 what month of Lucky was that Covet ad in? I had it but I can't remember what I did with it. That's what got me into this whole thing. I'll take a look at it if I can find it..

Sorry I don't remember the month I just kept the insert, but I'm thinking it must have been August's issue.

Lucky Covet Ad

It must be the July issue. I've found every back issue from Jan. up to the current Nov. one and I'm only missing July. Of course!! The other issues don't have the covet ad where the stickers are. I probably put it somewhere and forgot where or . . . GASP . . . threw it out Shocked Shocked
I hope not. Laughing

i think that the picture of the people hovering was just a metaphor. I think it represents "the keepers".. a group of people. I could be wrong though. So far only the first couple of shadows actually looked like the photos that replaced them. If you remember the female pictures looked like ersebet's shadow

Somehow when I scanned this(first time ever!) *pats herself on the back* these little boxes showed up in the background, when you zoom in really close on the parts that aren't where the stickers go it's looks like little, and some big, buildings, I tried looking at the Paris map to see if I could anything from it but so far nada. Maybe I am just overthinking this?!?

just one more thing

I forgot in the last post to put that the month with the dates circled is November (10th and 29th) not sure what it is for though, and the map is of Paris, the circle with the X in it is right above the Seine River and you can see to the right a crisscross of lines with a red dot in the middle that I'm positive is the arc de triomphe (sp?). Also if you zoom in to look at the buildings at the very bottom of the page towards the left is one with a red dot in the building, that was the only one I saw with red color although there are some with blue.
