[SPEC]Bold Futura as a company name

I can't stop thinking of the the font type : Futura Bold (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futura_%28typeface%29). It's too obvious. Why did they choose this name? Lack of inspiration or there is a meaning to it?

edit to add tag and clarify subject~rose

i put it down to lack of ideas and having a good company name staring at them from their computers. i don't see it as being a clue. if it is, then i wouldnt know where to go with it Confused

Bold Futura = F(r)ont

Its a bad marketing pun.

Besides, its a neat name anyway.

but Bold Futura is a company name... Slusho is a trademark registered to them... I'd be expecting to hear more of them.

Ironically, the typeface used on the Bold Futura logos aren't futura at all. My design sense was horribly offended...

Could it be called "bold futura" to confuse searchers by giving them results that deal with fonts instead of the websites they're really searching for?

(As a graphic designer I find this company name pretty funny)

Could there be something important (hidden) that is in that font?
On the Slusho.jp website the only thing that looks remotely like Futura is the text on the side of the stage in the product area.

The font derived from the original Futura by Renner is Futura-Bold, not Bold-Futura. I believe it was one of the original Mac fonts.

Futura itself is, in fact, the sine qua non of "futura" fonts and I agree, doing the "bold" version in Futura Bold contradicts the whole purpose Renner had in 1927.

Back on point, there may be an oblique Cloverfield/Tagruato plot reference to Renner's conception which you can find at the wiki article on Futura linked in the first post above. Think about it.
