CONTACT: Marcus, Intelium 5/17

Just a brief chat with Marcus.
He wanted to thank personally my effort looking for new employees; he wanted to call me, and I told him he wouldnt like to pay an international conference. His reply: no problem (!!) but it would be very embarrassing for me not to understand him so I refused (I'm going to try SMS instead, maybe he accept Very Happy)
He has also sent me a picture of his weekend, but hasnt arrived to my mailbos yet, I'll upload it ASAP

Does anyone else think this picture could be a puzzle?

You may just be getting paranoid. Looks like a typical day trip that Military recreation organizes (good for moral). Nicks on the helmets for the guide to call out instructions (difficult for them to recognize faces in the fast moving situation of rafting, and to remember all the names). Clever how Nash is interweaving real life events into Marcus' European trip and giving us wonderful visuals of the game characters.

However, you could ask him about his own chosen "nick".

Getting paranoid? I've been there for quite awhile. Very Happy

Stegdetect 0.5 reports a negative with all the default options.
The file doesn't contain any interesting EXIF metadata.

Helmets

I think this is definitely a puzzle. If the Names on the helmets were just there for the river guides, then why doesnt Marcus have a "nick".

I may be way off base here, but what reason would Marcus have for staging a group photo and hiding a puzzle in it? It doesn't really seem to make much sense to me....

I thought the guy with "ICE" on his helmet was Marcus. It's the only person that resembles the picture we have of Marcus from the Ideltech website. Am I wrong?

You are correct--no reason at all that I can tell. Still, there have been a lot of things that made no sense. Plus, didn't Drexel post some stegged image a month ago that had no real reason to be stegged, but was anyway?
