There is no evidence to support this postulation any more than the former at this point

while i would normaly agree with you, im going to have to disagree on some of these points. remember the "hi im jamie why did you hack my account blah blah blah" threat? PMs comming here, even though they kept it neutral and IG, the fact that they came here to this site to say "dont do that" i think means...dont do that. thats a pretty bold move on there part just to make a simple point. if we were SUPPOSE to get there eventually, would we have been yelled at for it? i dont think so for one.

I/d/k War, Lascano playing the victim here I doubt was a PM at all.

The PM proceeding to set the PB account public combined with the SIX code that was
delivered in the first three pics gets my vote for IG advancement for now.
This was probably done to remove the need to login to see the new pics everytime.

If we were not supposed to gain entry why wouldn't the account be made private again after recovery.

Why introduce coded new pics and create broken links on Lascano's myspace page (temporary or otherwise).

We may have likely crossed a hurdle and the public bucket and deciphered SIX code on the first three pics almost seems to corraborate.

In addition the PM's removed the "leave my shit alone pic".
If it was indeed a lurker or OOG why not leave that pic on and not upload any others??

That picture was removed when everyone still had access to it. Could have been a good-doer.

No it wasn't Kraker... I lost access at least 45 minutes before this pic was removed.

The pic was removed in this very thread while players watched and there was no access at the time.

Not to say it couldn't have been a doo good lurker, but it just seems a lil' out of character.

Well if I hacked it, I wouldn't keep the picture up. It was probably uploaded by a lurker trying to impersonate her.

In game character says that she would never type a note in the gramatical form she did. And if I were being hacked that would be the last thing I upload.

But if a lurker did indeed hack it...they still have their pics up.

That's just retarded...

The "stay outta my $h!t...Jaimie" combined with a conversion to a public album seems like a good way for the PM to nod that the players have crossed an IG hurdle.

I beg to differ. If it was a gamejacker they would have their pictures up.

The sentence was posted before it was locked, so I can only assume an incopetent person thought "why not upload a picture message instead of secure the account first".

I wouldn't be surprised however considering the lack of competence we have seen.

I deem it useless to argue this topic for sure, however. If by the end of the week Jamie has said nothing and the pictures are as they were, I'll concede it is ingame.

Does seem fruitless to debate at this point, especially considering this , nonetheless...

If you look here at the second post of the page it's evidenced that Duckie saw this pic before the pass was announced on uF.
Therefore, chances are, the PB was set to public from the very beginning of uF's Lascano PB fiasco.
How else would she have seen the pic (w/o a pass)?!?

We both agree that if the pics aren't changed within a few more days, it's a safe bet they're in game.
Especially if we can get a nod from the PM's through Myspace or a blogspot elsewhere.

One thing that hasn't been brought up as far as I've seen is that it may well be the case that the PMs don't have control of any of Jamie's assets anymore. If all of Jamie's account passwords and email account followed the pattern that Rob's did, and I think it's safe to believe they could have, then whoever took final control of her PB could have accessed her email and Myspace accounts and changed all of the passwords. If that were the case, then I'd say it's quite possible that the PMs can't login to these accounts to make the necessary changes at this time. If this truly is the scenario, then who knows how long it'll take to sort out.

Well, if their security was as lax as people seem to think it was, then this would be a deserved result. I'm more optimistic. Smile

There isn't any evidence that even the photobucket site is not under the control of the PMs. I would give them enough credit to be able to figure out how to retain or regain control of the space.

The problem is, and I may be mistaken, is that if the email account that was used to register both the PB account and the Myspace account was accessed and the password and other info changed, then there doesn't seem to be a simple way for the PMs to do a password recovery on Jamie's accounts. They wouldn't be able to see the email sent from PhotoBucket or MySpace.

Very true. I think IF the PB account is now in someone elses hands it might as well be chalked up as a lost cause. It wouldn't be all that hard for a PM to repost pics to a new account and put them in the respective places on the Myspace page. However the Myspace page itelf is a whole different monster. Thats not something they could easily recreate and patch things up. From my dealings with Myspace I know a hacked account can be deleted by Myspace at the request of the original owner BUT they do not restore ownership to pages, its either delete or deal with it. Now being linked to Paramount and whatnot they may have more pull than your common Myspacer. Other things to note, posting false info on your Myspace page is against their TOS and can get you deleted in the first place and we can all agree these pages aren't real people (this never happens btw, just note it is against the TOS). So maybe Paramount already had a deal with Myspace like many other movies do when they promote a film on that site and Myspace will restore the profile no questions asked.

{EDIT-spelling, grammar and everything else that made me look mildly retarded}

To the latter I ask; Why would they create this hack situation with a player here 'guessing' the pass and uploading something themselves? There's no IG correlation to ANY of this so far, and breaking the MySpace content doesn't fit how everything else in this has been (all sites with the UI neatly sorted, even 'dead' links pointing right back to valid content). If Dr. Awkward's intrusion and upload was part of the game, doesn't that effectively make him a PM? Doesn't that mean he's in violation of the site's ToS and should be immediately banned? If Doc Awk is NOT a PM, then for at least a time the PB was not under the control of the PMs.

As to the former statement rose...

If only. He's shown more intelligence than anything I've seen from the existing PMs. Maybe he could apply?

OK, that was mean.

The answer to your question: no, it doesn't make him a PM.
