[SPEC] 2 different storylines, Fri. important asdf

I find it odd that we are being shown two different storylines. On one side, we are being shown Jamie and her trials, and on the other we are being introduced to a giant company.

These two seem to be independent of each other.

Also, Friday seems to play a key role as the last 3 weeks have yielded us with new info.

The movie also opens on a Friday I believe. Not unusual tho.

You're wrong. All movies open on fridays. You're confusing pre-screenings with opening days when you talk about tuesdays and wednesdays.

What does "asdf" have to do with the topic of your post???
If you want folks to comment, a good subject title lets everyone know what you are writing about - so it's easy to find in the forum.

Sorry, That is incorrect. There are plenty of movies that open on Wednesday, and more rarely Tuesday. TINO did open on a Wednesday, and in 1996 Independence Day did too (both July 3rd). I'm sure there've been more.

And by open I mean all day showings on multiple screens open to the public, just like a Friday, not one screen with limited tickets and only one showing that day.

Yeah, it's VERY common for movies to open on Wednesdays in the US, at least during prime cinema season -- like summer and Christmas.

They used to always open on a Friday, until the studios realized they could skew the 'opening weekend' box-office numbers by actually opening a day earlier.. Once it was established that the week before counted towards the opening weekend they kept moving the day back, especially on blockbusters and other high visibility movies to further inflate thier numbers.

I'm sorry guys. This was supposed to go in the boneyard.

Apparantly, I messed up. Again, sorry.

Transformers opened on a tuesday because that was a holiday (well kinda, i mean July fourth was right there) also Independence Day opened then, movies also open on Christmas a lot, that's the exception to the Friday...thing... holidays.

I checked both year's calendars, and I'm certain both TINO and ID4 opened on Wednesdays (I've excluded prescreens on Tuesdays because they're limited on screens and tickets available).

The opening of a Movie on a day other than Friday doesn't only coincide with a holiday. Plenty of x-mas movies open on Black Friday, but it has nothing to do with Thanksgiving (US); other than it's the beginning of x-mas season.

Summer movies, as stated earlier, will just open on Wednesday to boost opening weekend numbers and they don't have to worry as much about getting kiddies into the seats on weekdays when school's out.

Sometime the opening date just has to do with the subject of the movie, like 1-18-08, that's the day everything seems to be happening.

I would've opened V for Vendetta on Nov 5th.

True... oh well, 01-18-08 opens on a friday... we know that. other movies open other days.. just not sunday, saturday, thursday or monday... i'm sure someone will post "LIKE HELL THEY DON'T!" but oh well, not a big issue, the point is that info does come out on friday, what do you think tomorrows clue will be (if indeed there is one)?

I'd like to see an update on Tagruato's website. Multiple clues could be contained in it.
