I think I am going to have to drop into "standby-mode" as well. If large chunks of the game are going to be played through character interaction and player-to-player whispers, secrets, gossip, and private messages, with very little of it being posted in a community forum...well, you have at that point lost most of the community aspect. Seeing as the whole community angle is one of the awesome things that drew me to this genre, the whole thing leaves a bit of a sour feeling

Brian....
Listen I understand how you feel, but I didn't think the conclusion of the discussion was that people weren't going to post. I know I suggested that and I was wrong about it. But don't assume that is what is happening or what has happened or what will happen. Please.

Sometimes it takes me a while to process things......

The only thing I didn't post was the thing from Thad because I didn't feel right about doing it. After all the discourse about "agents" it just seemed mean to do that. even without all that I would not have posted it I think because I wouldn't embarass someone. That is me and probably I'm wrong - but I don't want to put someone in a position of being "accused" when they were just playing the game. I think if you think about it, maybe you wouldn't post that either.

And I had an intellIM from Marcus that I will post if someone can help me figure out how to access the information on this stupid Windows thing I have. I can't get to the folder of the saved chat log to post it.

I intend to post everything in the same way that I have.

(which includes all my crazy useless spec about puzzles too.)

If you have intellIM this is how you access the logs from your chats (or at least the way I do it on my machine.)

Highlight name in contact list and right click.

Menu will pop up. At the bottom it reads View Message History and View Profile. Select Message History.

A box will pop up with all of the communciation you've had sorted by date. Select the date you need and use File - Save to save the chats in a more convenient place.

Hope that helps.
