All of the music is straight off of GarageBand for Mac OS X. Just thought I'd let everyone know.

Sorry, but I did read it from day 1, but I must have missed your news bulletin.

The photos are in the pond section to the upper left of the row boat.

Also, has anyone been able to make out some of the old photos?
I can make out

Field photos
1. Tractor tire
2. Muddy ruts left by tires.
3. The front of a tractor. Looks about 1930's by the front end.
4. Tilled earth?

Pond photos
1. Some kind of compartment is open. Looks like a glove or a tube coming out.
2. Cylinders in the middle. Black rubber hose and compression fitting at the top.
3. Looks like a top down view of the thing in the blueprint.
4. Boots? Tubes?

ya they have been there for a while...not brand new...

It is odd that they would spend lots of money for google ads keywords:

2 keywords I have found - type them in google and see the ad on the right hand column:
snowplows (ad headline is "snowplow's sense it")
trencher (ad headline is "trencher's sense it")

Also found You Tube video from itscoming -
oddly the date it was uploaded is a coincidence October 18 (of LAST year).

http://www.youtube.com/user/itscoming

Don't know if it is related or not

Those ads were talked about way back in the thread. Delusional found the video on an equipment site back on page one.

As for the video uploaded last October from itscoming -- that is a different account. The one with the videos pertinent to this thread are from itscoming07.

sMooTH WuN: pic #5 in both sets are relatively new.

Possibilities

Just read this thread and checked out the pretty cool Flash site.
My reaction was to hope that it wasn't really to do with the launch of a new RL tractor or other form of heavy machinery...why would that type of industry bother with this type of marketing??
I did a little research and came up with:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Candella Software created a multi-player Chariot racing game in 2003 and input of the keywords 'Revo' and 'Chariot' (as misspelt in the Flash diary) into Google came up with this page: http://www.gamershell.com/articles/596.html
Perhaps Candella plan to launch an update version with modern, fast, four wheeled chariots?

Alternatively: SEGA Rally Revo has just been launched, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_Rally_Revo
Perhaps they plan to launch a multiplayer web game??

Either seems like a possibility and a lot more fitting than the RL launch of anything than can suddenly go twice the speed of its predecessors!

That makes alot of sense - and would explain the photos of the pillars and statue heads (like in Greece).

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Perhaps each photo is a snippet or sample of the graphics of the new game you described - Chariot, and that is why they are obscurred - the game hasn't been released yet

That still doesn't explain all the advertising on farming/landscaping websites... Sad

OK, had someone I know take a look at it as he is an expert metalurgist and machinery manufacture for over 30 years.

He said it is not a detailed drawing and there is not enough information to know exactly what it is, however, it looks like 2 bearing housings (1 on each side) which is usually for wheels. I told him about the chariot theory and he agreed that since there is 2 bearing housings it would mean 2 wheels, and the "U" shape center piece could be indictive of a chariot type vehical or cart. However, chariots did not have this kind of bearings in ancient greece.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you. I don't know why you are claiming that the image is showing "pillars and statue heads", or why you are frequently mentioning Greece.

I think it looks like what the journal on the site talks about, which is something mechanical. Just because the journal mentions 'chariot' as a possible name, does not mean this has anything to do with Greece.

I got to say that the web site reminds me of The Evil dead a lot (shack in the woods, the camcorder and strange lights). With Halloween around the corner could it be promoting a horror film? I don't know how all the mechanical stuff would fit in unless it the specs for a super advanced deadite killing chainsaw

ps . I bet when the clock counts down to zero with can go in the shack.

I put the photo in photoshop, and enhanced it, and although it still wasn't clear, it looked very much like 2 pillars with greek type heads on it (on the left) and the one on the right looked very much like 1 pillar with the head fell off onto the floor. The other items were not distinguishable, but did look like a large piece of machinery on the right.

Then I read the article in the posted spoiler by Nanomite. - I mentioned Greece because that is the main part of the article .

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Could you tell us a bit about Chariots story, setting etc? Why did you choose this particular time of history?

Chariots is set in 776 BC at the time of the very first Olympics in Ancient Greece. The eight city states of Athens, Sparta, Macedonia, Elis, Crete, Troy, Thebes and Carthage are participating in the Olympics. This setting was chosen for two main reasons. Firstly, Ancient Greece was a period in human history which witnessed great advancements in most fields of human activity, particularly art and architecture.

This allows us to recreate some of the most stunning landscapes ever seen in a racing game. In addition to some of the spectacular locales in Greece which can still be seen today, you will see legendary monuments from the Hellenic world like the the Acropolis, Temple of Zeus and Lighthouse of Pharos.

Secondly, we wanted to create an innovative racing game which harked back to the golden age of the arcades – pure adrenaline pumping action and fun. We also wanted to make it different from the modern day realistic car racing simulations or futuristic hovercraft/anti-gravity type racers. The logical choice was a chariot-based racing game.

Edited: Looking at it again with After Effects CS3 and using the glow effect plugin, there appears to be small square window in the upper right hand corner, with the light shining on the pillars and can see the nose and the mouth on one of them, and an "X" on the broken one. Also, it is just a theory someone threw out there.
