Dude....

First time in an ARG. Spend a lot of time clock-watching, so i thought this would be a nice way to kill time, cause that's pretty much all i've got. Want to do anything i can to help, 'cept wearing a friggin' paper hat, or dressing like a chicken. That would suck.

First post involving my first ARG.

As I said in my first "real" post: Thank you to all of you who work so diligently to keep me reading these forums and cloverfieldclues instead of working. Wink

I'm from the Washington/Idaho border, twenty-three year old college student.

Read about the movie on the day before the trailer came out, saw it in r/l at the midnight premiere of Transformers here in town. Been lurking since then and finally decided it was time to join the fun.

Thanks again, gang. Let the games begin (or continue, rather)

I saw the Cloverfield trailer with my friends at Transformers a week after it premiered. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I thought so many different things. Ironically enough, the second it was over, my friend leaned over to me and said "Dude, I think that's Voltron!" Giant robots were on everyone's mind at the time.

When I got home, I had to check it out. I quickly discovered 1-18-08.com, and then I discovered Unfiction. I have been following this site faithfully since then, and I just recently joined.

This has been one hell of a trip. Here's to all the work that's been done so far and all the work that will be done up until January 18th.

Let's keep it up!

My name's Wyatt, and I'm a 27-year-old health and safety officer for a major environmental remediation country. My job takes me all over the place, but I've been in Green Bay, Wisconsin, for the past four months, and there's really not a whole lot to do around here, save for work and go to the bar. Being as I'm not as into the whole bar scene as I was during my glorious 4 1/2 year stay at Penn State (WE ARE...PENN STATE), I consequently was looking for something to fill up my time, both at work and outside of it. (My roommate complains if I play my Xbox 360 on our television in the living room, and I really hate lugging a set around from job to job, even a flatscreen.)

ANYWAY, I found the trailer innocently enough, while I was looking around at random trailers on apple.com after checking out the Iron Man trailer. I was intrigued, so I started scouring google for relevant results, and after wading through a whole slew of blogs dedicated to the film, I stumbled across a link to this forum, and I've been lurking ever since (this was just before Labor Day, if I'm not mistaken).

I've never participated in an ARG before, but I'm anxious to see just what I can bring to the table (which has been relatively limited thus far, both by my travel and by the fact that I sleep during the prime hours for new revelations due to my current relegation to night shift).

So yeah, that's more or less me in a nutshell, although I do make a fantastic alfredo sauce that I'm just ego-centric enough to claim as my favorite pasta dish, preferably over fettucine.

My name is Victoria, and I currently live in the southeastern US. Ever since I saw the trailer for 1-18-08 over the summer, I've been hooked. I came across Unfiction while looking for information shortly after seeing the trailer. I work at a structured settlement company, and it's extremely boring, so I needed something to keep me occupied whenever I have nothing nothing else to do. My favorite pasta is my grandmother's homemade gnocchi.

who are you? - I chose the "Clover" pseudonym in reference to "Cloverfield." See how clever I am?

Why are you here? - Floated around for a while watching the craziness, registered when the Japanese recipe card was found because I know Japanese. Okay, I know about as much Japanese as a Japanese four year old, but that's more than most people here, right? :B Anyway. This is my first ARG-dealy, and my last unless there's a Watchmen ARG. That would be sweet.

What do you do? - I like baking, actually. And I think I'm a student... Oh crap I have a test next week. D:

What's your favourite type of pasta? - I'm allergic to most pastas. ;-;

I'm Eli, (pronounced (Eh-lee, not ee-lie), and I'm 17 years old, from Toronto, Canada.
I'm here because I can't leave Very Happy . The trailer before transformers broke all boundaries, and pulled me in. Also, because this forum is SO much better than the one over at 1-18-08news.com.
I'm a first year student at York University. "If you can use a fork, you can go to York!"
My favorite pasta is anything that can be stuffed. Stuffed with anything else.
My favorite colour is the one that's spelled with a "u".
(lets see how long it takes the Americans to figure that one out.)

I'm on the map, but the closest Canadian Cloverfan to me is in Sudbury Sad and has some strange aversion to meeting random strangers in a dark movie theatre. How odd... lol
