Now THIS is the kinda spy-work that I can see the PMs having the player-spies doing. This makes perfect sense.

In my opinion here we have the perfect opp to "catch" the spies. If any of this info has to be gained by asking Marcus or someone within Ideltech, then we just need to let Marcus know what the questions are so that he can tell us who might be asking them. -- Just a thought altho if the spies are now reading this then, maybe they won't ask. Geesh this whole thing is just too confusing for me. Spies trying to catch spies trying to catch spies. Ugh. Wink

The idea here is that if this is posted in unforum, it is just to let every player know what is happening on both sides of the fence.

If a non-OE agent "outs" the mission to Marcus/Melody, then the in-game characters would have to ask "where did you get this information?". Players cannot point in-game characters to unforum, since in the AWARE universe, unforum does NOT exist.

So, if you are not an OE-agent (aka 'spy for Alecia'), then sit back and let the agents try to get the answers from the Ideltech people.

If you are pretended to be an OE-agent, but really are staying an Ideltech employee, then you might find a way to warn Marcus about the attempt by Alecia, without Alecia or her real OE-agents to find out and rat you out as the double-agent.

See, this is more fun "pre-game" stuff; but too bad it isn't puzzle stuff that any of us could do on our own. I sure hope the real game doesn't have so much player-character interaction required. I miss mulling over webpaged puzzles. However, I think that this is going more towards a Majestic approach than Metacortechs.

Sorry Mysfitz, didn't mean to jump on ya Embarassed

I just wanted to be sure that everyone plays fairly and follows their own rules. It bugs me when somebody goes off and says you must do XYZ but when it's their turn they do something completely different (not referring to anybody in partucular--because it hasn't happened). I just hope with all this stuff going on that people remember what they had requested of others and to follow their own example.

Ok, now I'm not making any sense...

If players plan to pass on information to an in-game character such as Alicia or Marcus and decide to post here that they have done so would it be useful if they posted both the information and it's in-game source?
