13 is the 7th fibonacci number...

This all could mean absolutely nothing.. just thinkin out loud here..

If this code were a Vigenere, what could be the password? Lets look at some facts of the Blog Post.

1. The Room is called "ENVY". (Which I got right, Might I add! lol).. does this mean the other rooms are other Sins?
2. There are two Etruscan Spells that needed to be translated.
3. Both spells came from: "Etruscan Roman Remains in Popular Tradition", a book written by Charles Godfrey Leland in 1892.
4. The first spell, has to do with what appears to be a lover scorned and getting revenge, or I assume Wrath/Anger?
5. The second spell has to do with making someone fall in love with you, so Im guessing Lust?
6. The note written by Miyar has three points of interest, that I am thinking of. a) The first is the word "gatherings" in quotations. Maybe this is her way of mocking what she does to people inside her house, or maybe we are to take note of this word, or synonyms of this word? Not sure. b) At one point Miyar cannot think of a specific word for "giving up in the middle". Im wondering if we are to find a word for this? Concede? Quit? Surrender? eh.. c) The final part of the note is clearly written in a different color ink (red). Why? To make it stand out? If so, I repeat, Why? Once again, not sure..
7. The code was scratched onto the bookshelf lining. There were books on the shelf. (I already commented that maybe the next step was just to look for the book containing the aforementioned spells?)
8. The code itself is perfectly lined up. Both lines. Same amount of letters, same amount of words. This has to mean something..
9. The exclamation points make me think its some sort of chant or invocation...
10. The end says "This is maddening..". Mad = Angry = Wrath? A stretch maybe?

What I mean is, take the fourth word, for example.
JCRR
GSUU
The third and fourth letter is the same in both lines.

BYQBN
BCXBR
The first and fourth letters are the same. I don't know if there's any significance that they're both Bs.

I don't know where I was going with this, though.


By the way, I keep hearing you talk about a Vigenere code. What exactly is that?

Alright, apparently Miyar really likes to mess with us when she know's we're having trouble... Really nice job on that word search, Teri. I don't think I ever would have thought to check the picture section.

The word "carnation" looks like it might be a part of "REINcarnation," but I still don't think this word has been used yet. I found some, too:

That is a possibility. I looked up "Vigenere" on Wikipedia and the page had a picture of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Vigen%C3%A8re_square.svg.

Now, the second word-search could be telling us more about the first, but I think it might be in actual reference to this square... or "diagram." I was thinking more along the lines of us using Vigenere's square in a way different from the Vigenere code itself.
