Maybe

All the puzzles haven't been solved. Maybe it's not over yet, maybe he {Christopher Forrest} is waiting for us to solve more puzzles. I would be very sad if the GC ARG finished. Crying or Very sad

Has anybody solved all the TG puzzles. All content copyright 2007, TRIAD GENOMICS, INC.

What is this?

Cryptograms were originally created by the Spartan military in the fifth century
B.C. This code consisted of a staff around which a strip of paper was wrapped
without overlapping. A message was written on the paper, which was then
unwrapped and sent on its way. The message could only be correctly decoded
with the right diameter of stick. Julius Caesar invented the first substitution
cypher, one which still bears his name.

The first use of the cryptogram for entertainment purposes occurred during the
Middle Ages by monks who had spare time for intellectual games. A manuscript
found at Bamberg states that Irish visitors to the court of Merfyn Frych ap
Gwriad, King of Gwynedd in Wales, were given a cryptogram which could only
be solved by transposing the letters from Latin into Greek.

Around the thirteenth century, the English monk Roger Bacon wrote a book in
which he listed seven cipher methods, and stated that "a man is crazy who
writes a secret in any other way than one which will conceal it from the vulgar."

The double-helix.

The broken magic square is the only one (to my knowledge) we never solved. Apparently, we missed seeing the key somewhere along the way and we were never given any additional (recognizable) hints. So, there was really nowhere to go with it.

The cryptogram says:

SCATTERED THROUGHOUT THE ANCIENT WRITINGS OF HUMAN
CIVILIZATION ARE MANY CRYPTIC REFERENCES OVERLOOKED BY
MODERN SCIENCE. REFERENCES TO SCIENTIFIC CONCEPTS FAR
BEYOND THE COMPREHENSION OF THEIR AUTHORS. REFERENCES
REPEATED WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING FROM THEIR ORIGINAL
SOURCES NOW LOST IN THE MISTS OF ANTIQUITY.

 Contacting CF

I sent an e-mail to CF. I asked if the GC ARG game is over to let his fans know but I don't think it's over (I hope).

I think the game is not over, I hope. On Christopher Forrest myspace blog there is something new posted, dated from 10-7-07.
It said,
The book's title refers to a momentous discovery by Joshua Ambergris, a Nobel Prize-winning geneticist and founding partner of Triad Genomics, a global biotech firm. Ambergris discovers nothing less than a coded text hidden within human DNA. Based on scientific research but guided by everything from the Dresden Codex (look it up, it's fascinating) to the Sefer Yetsirah, this sets off a firestorm, for Ambergris is murdered hours before he is to make a formal announcement.
Can this be a clue (it did say look it up, it's fascinating)? I haven't check it out yet, but I will. I hope it's not another dead end. Sad Rolling Eyes

Did you get a reply? I'm afraid it bit the dust. I was so hoping it would come back to life. Got and read the book, revisited the sites and redid the puzzles and came up to the same dead end.

Now the http://thegenesisconspiracy.com/ site is down. Has been for a few days. I really think the game had a melt down. Sad It was my first ARG too.

emato (would love to be wrong!)

My guess is that book sales have not gone well. I looked all over Lexington, KY at various bookstores and never saw it. I asked a couple of customer service people and they said the store had no intention of stocking it.

Without book sales, the ARG is probably not worth CF's time. This was my first ARG as well. Sad

The site is still up

You can go to the this website www.thegenesiscode.com .

When I went to Triad Genomics website I signed up to get a CD delivered to me. The CD has to do with education kit: Understanding the Human Genome Project. I haven't recived it yet {I singed up not so long ago}. Has anyone recieved the CD yet?

I think the book is doing well, go to his myspace and you will recieve more info. There are also videos of him in youtube.com.

The page you were on to get the CD is actually from a government website that CF linked to through the Triad Genomics page and is not at all related to the game.
