 		Who is the Phoenix?

we should be able to figure out who the phoenix is and this may lead us to solving the mail login for the OE site (as the phoenix presumably has access to that) and figuring out who he is at Ideltech ( his name at work)


To be obvious and start the ball rolling"

Either this is a new character

Or it is an existing character
not Palser as that was clarified in the blog
but possibly:
The "real" professor

Ideas?

There are a number of clues in the blog to the Phoenix' identity. This is the only fact that I recognized as inaccurate,however, there may be others.

Reggie / John Baxter : note Ras chatted with Reggie today so it may not be him...are there clues in that chat to the Phoenix's identity?

 		I think we should figure not only the Phoenix but who all the spies are. I think there are at least three:

- The Phoenix (reading his blog I guess he is a male)

- A girl recruited by the Phoenix:

I'm relatively positive the three refers to the Phoenix, his little spy, and Alecia.

He also sounds a lot like he's a little schizophrenic, he could also be referring to "his little spy" and himself, twice Confused (He referred to what is apparently his second identity as "him" or "he" before...)

 		Ok, just throwing anything in at this point, because I've been working like a dog on this thing and I'm at a loss.

The recently returned Reggie/John Baxter from Acheron, was also known as Marcus? And he was suspected of having MPD? Am I getting this right from the old Acheron forums? And he's also been avoiding helping us out on Alecia's hit list because he's busy downloading cartoons? Anything odd here?

Ok, really wild spec here, but what the hell, it's 6am, I've been up coughing and chugging Robitussin all night while watching Tracey Takes On, and there's a mouse trapped in a glue trap in the kitchen that keeps squealing but I am NOT PICKING THAT DAMN THING UP! So if this spec sounds nuts, feel free to say so. Rolling Eyes

However, isn't the real Marcus recently traveled to Switzerland and then the river rafting trip, and that just doesn't compute for wanting to take it down (TOBI) - now, if it was Marty or Jude, that I could better understand. Doesn't the Phoenix have a personal grudge against the boys? Alecia has a "holier than thou" mission, but for the Phoenix - it's personal.

Is this MPD (which John Baxter/Reggie/Mephisto/etc had because of drugs that were given to John in the starting timeline for Acheron, but when the game ended, he was safe, sane, married to Meghan, with a new baby or Schizophrenia (hears voices in his head)?[/quote]

Actually my thinking was this. I've been saying that the MPD thing sounds off because (as far as I know and remember I'm not psychologist) personalities don't usually know the other exist until their told by someone else about them, the primary exception being when one personality is assumed. The example I gave in chat the other night was of a Macgyver ep where a twin died when she and her sister were climbing and the sister that lived assumed her in second personality. What I was wondering was if the second personality thinks it is our Marcus.

But you know what, now that I type it it sounds pretty nuts, particularly if that character is supposed to be sane now (I wasn't aware of that).

You are right... It is John Baxter aka Reggie... Same symptons, and complaints..

Only problems is this, John Baxter is the Creator of IU, which means he is pretty high up in Ideltechs team..

So we have to know how to Prove this to Marcus.
