CHAT: More YIM from Reggie (5/21)

Dunno if he was trying to slip me a hint here or if he was just messing with me. Smile

Quote:
vision42x23 (1:37:45 PM): *knockknock* Candygram! Or should I say pickleweasel? Smile
hexeditor00 (1:40:15 PM): Up every mornin' just to keep a job
vision42x23 (1:40:31 PM): I know the feeling.
hexeditor00 (1:40:50 PM): I gotta fight my way through the hussling mob
vision42x23 (1:41:15 PM): Yup.
vision42x23 (1:41:24 PM): Found the little online diary our fire-feathered friend keep. I must say, this is one bent bird.
hexeditor00 (1:41:38 PM): Sounds of the city pounding in my brain
vision42x23 (1:42:26 PM): Hmm, I've heard this before
hexeditor00 (1:42:52 PM): While another day goes down the drain.
vision42x23 (1:44:24 PM): Where I've heard it, I can't recall...
vision42x23 (1:45:26 PM): Many things I can't remember at all.
hexeditor00 (1:45:40 PM): Doesn't that just suck.
hexeditor00 (1:45:56 PM): I can't remember most anything when I want to.
vision42x23 (1:46:07 PM): I feel your pain.
hexeditor00 (1:47:35 PM): If you felt my pain you'd be on your knees begging something almighty to take it away but that's another saga.
vision42x23 (1:47:46 PM): Point. Smile
vision42x23 (1:48:06 PM): Has that list reveailed it's deepest darkest secrets to you yet?
hexeditor00 (1:48:32 PM): Sorry. I found a site where I can download all the 80's cartoons I want so I've been busy.
vision42x23 (1:49:02 PM): Gotta keep your priorities straight. Smile Would Rescue Rangers be there, perchance?
vision42x23 (1:49:31 PM): Wait, that's early '90s. NM.
hexeditor00 (1:49:43 PM): GI JOE!
hexeditor00 (1:49:45 PM): YOOO JOE!
vision42x23 (1:50:13 PM): Heh, I was more of a Transformers kid myself.
vision42x23 (1:52:56 PM): Something about robots turning into cars and such inherently rocks, I think. Smile
hexeditor00 (1:54:26 PM): "The greatest pleasure is to vanquish your enemies and chase them before you, to rob them of their wealth and see those dear to them bathed in tears, to ride their horses and clasp to your bosom their wives and daughters."
vision42x23 (1:56:09 PM): Hmm, Genghis Khan would say something like that, wouldn't he? Smile
hexeditor00 (1:56:30 PM): Or Conan!
vision42x23 (1:57:04 PM): Not the Ahhnold version, I hope?
vision42x23 (2:01:33 PM): Come to think of it, if Conan were governing my state, things would be interesting...

EDIT: Hmm, those were lyrics from "Five o' Clock World" by The Vogues he was singing at the beginning...

Managed to get some more chat with him a little while later. Sorry I'm late in posting it, I was running late for work.

Quote:
hexeditor00 (2:55:28 PM): Did you ever watch Voltron?
vision42x23 (2:55:41 PM): Oh, hell yeah!
hexeditor00 (2:55:55 PM): Did you ever think he was going to lose?
hexeditor00 (2:56:29 PM): I mean. They had stock footage of the lions, the assembly, horribly dubbed voices. Just once I wanted to see some drama.
vision42x23 (2:56:52 PM): Heh, I know what you mean.
vision42x23 (2:58:00 PM): You'd think the bad guys would try to attack mid-assembly..
hexeditor00 (2:58:13 PM): Did you register and see my little forum yet?
vision42x23 (2:58:36 PM): Immersion Unlimited? Yup.
vision42x23 (2:58:53 PM): Marcus told us about it in a powwow
hexeditor00 (2:59:01 PM): Good.
hexeditor00 (2:59:24 PM): When I get done downloading all of my BattleTech cartoons. I'll get back to your precious list.
hexeditor00 (3:00:16 PM): BTW. Alecia Church. She's my kind of women if she weren't psycho death threat sending bitch.
vision42x23 (3:00:48 PM): Heh...
vision42x23 (3:01:11 PM): Ain't that always the way, tho?
hexeditor00 (3:02:39 PM): This roseaware person knows my password...
vision42x23 (3:03:26 PM): Ahh. Steven must've passed it to her.
hexeditor00 (3:03:40 PM): You sure you didn't?
vision42x23 (3:03:45 PM): Nope.
vision42x23 (3:04:45 PM): I think she's trustworthy, tho. Steven seems to concur.
hexeditor00 (3:05:06 PM): Lake's a lawyer. They'll do what the can and skip town to Vegas.
vision42x23 (3:06:21 PM): True. She also chats with Marcus as well.
hexeditor00 (3:06:40 PM): The playboy has so many girlfriends it's not even funny.
vision42x23 (3:06:55 PM): Yeah, he is a pimp, isn't he?
hexeditor00 (3:07:15 PM): Pretty slick what he's done with TOBI.
vision42x23 (3:07:46 PM): I'd say. Can't wait 'till we go live, myself.
hexeditor00 (3:09:26 PM): go live?
hexeditor00 (3:09:32 PM): oh yeah. right. Go live.
vision42x23 (3:09:35 PM): Yup.
hexeditor00 (3:10:13 PM): Did Lake tell you anything else about the Phoenix?
vision42x23 (3:10:44 PM): Lake never even mentioned the Phoenix to me.
vision42x23 (3:11:08 PM): I'm lucky that I stumbled onto his/her blog at all.
hexeditor00 (3:11:28 PM): What's amazing is that it took so long.
vision42x23 (3:12:10 PM): True. Does Marcus know about this yet?
hexeditor00 (3:12:41 PM): Yes. Lake's pretty much in charge of sniffing it out.
hexeditor00 (3:12:52 PM): Next move is his/hers.
hexeditor00 (3:14:14 PM): We nailed Mos already I heard.
vision42x23 (3:14:16 PM): Hmm... Well, unless s/he is feeding us a line, s/he has his/her sights set on someone in Amboy. Melody and Thad, as well as Marcus' family comes to mind..
vision42x23 (3:15:17 PM): Yeah, I heard about that.
hexeditor00 (3:15:42 PM): Sounds like the rats are selling the cargo off the ships. Why I have no idea.
hexeditor00 (3:16:16 PM): If I could get in on the ground floor at Ideltech. I'd be like a knight in a suit of armor. Diligent to protect my maiden's virtues.
vision42x23 (3:16:33 PM): I hear ya.
vision42x23 (3:17:03 PM): I think it's in Mos' best interest to start singing like a canary...
hexeditor00 (3:20:11 PM): He's not the only one. If Church finds out her little leeches are squeeling she'll plug them.
vision42x23 (3:20:51 PM): True.
hexeditor00 (3:21:21 PM): Clean your soul with oxyclean!
vision42x23 (3:23:22 PM): That would sting a bit..
hexeditor00 (3:24:09 PM): Death would sting more.
hexeditor00 (3:24:25 PM): Find salvation in a cereal box. It's lucky charms time.
vision42x23 (3:25:32 PM): Heh, where's lucky when ya need him?
hexeditor00 (3:25:43 PM): he's in the box.
hexeditor00 (3:25:45 PM): i gotta go.
vision42x23 (3:25:54 PM): Gotcha. Late!

The lucky charms thing can be found in the Austin Powers movie. Don't know if it applies here, but I thought I would throw it out there.

Quote:
PATTY O'BRIEN: One of Dr. Evil's henchmen. The Irish assassin's trademark move is to leave a charm from his bracelet by the bodies of his targets. When told that Scotland Yard wants his bracelet for evidence, he replied, "They're always after me lucky charms."

Yeah, I had already done some searching on the Paddy O'Brien character's name (of course only with that spelling since that's the script I found), and hadn't found squat. Maybe that frauline chick Dr. Evil schtuped, since she was the one who explained it to Paddy.
