Location: Where the surfing is good...

 		If i wanted to construct a SOSUS type network of monitoring stations in a web that would cover almost every known deep of the ocean, without bringing attention to myself, where would i place them? And what would i place them on?

With this innocent statement, Tagruato almost claims ownership of reality
itself, if you let them. Confused

Ensuring "your" future - almost implies that they won't, or aren't, a part
of this impending "future". It's a future developed for us by them...
perhaps they plan to exsist parallel to this "future", in a "future" of their own...
see, that's the noose, so to speak...Exxon in a reality doesn't take personal ownership of the oceans, which IMO Tagruato is doing in this written scenerio. BUT, it's so obvious to me, which is why it makes me wonder...why make that type of statement which has a severe level of seperation between them and humanity?...i mean wouldn't you in theory if owning a global corporation, want to "include" yourself to the world to give off the feeling of being one and together?...

This says to me that they are acting upon our futures, as if in some sense of control over it. Basically, they feel they are defining our future - but is it a future we want?

If they were aliens, I'd expect:
"Exploring your world, Ensuring our future."
i agree, that the possession is there, but automatically making it "their" world from the statement imo, gives off the distinct feeling of this feeling having been so for quite awhile...i mean in alot of monster or alien movies(ID4 for example)when dialogue was actually used, even tho an alien was trying to take the planet, it was always referenced as OUR planet not theirs, they just wanted it...

now, i'm not saying that the Tagruato company is a bunch of aliens, but if they are human in fact, then they have distinctly seperated themselves, either by force, or by choice into thinking that they are seperate and in some way not part of "our" world any longer.

and no, basically from the signs of the trailers and pics, the future doesn't look like one humanity would embrace imo.

are you looking at stationary or mobile?...i can see oil platforms as a cover for a stationary network, but if you mean more of a mobile one, you could use subs, unmanned subs actually...same as UAV's alot of high tech unmanned vehicles can run automatically on set courses, or by computer from miles away...

also, i think it would depend on how developed the technology is...

I mean hey maybe this is a reverse of the usual monster movie (i.e. the Matthew Brodrick Godzilla) where the US military takes it down.(or tries) Maybe we get our asses handed to us and then some random Japanese guy who saw it all coming(Ganu) steps in to save the world?

 		I dont believe Ganu is a "Good Guy". The company profile with his back turned in the picture? Most Corporations the CEO picture is a facial shot smiling or a family portrait with his wife& kids. And other little statements on the company website that makes you think something shady there. How would you feel if at the 7-11, Pepsi was installing a fountain drink machine and you see scientist setting it up, Would you try it?..lol

I agree with you but it is an interesting and different line of thought. Maybe Ganu is spreading Slusho because it offers some sort of protection or it is part of the plan to bring the sucker down.
Besides this seems to be the kind of movie that will have some twists. Maybe they intentionally give us the impression he is bad just so they can go"HAHA sill ARGers...didnt see that coming did ya? Very Happy

I am not sure if this is the image that the CEO pic reminds me of, but it is close. Some kind of "deep thought, weight of the world decision time" kinda pose.

Anyone else get that feeling from the pic?

But JFK is facing towards you, Ganu has his back facing. How can you tell if he is in deep thought? Could have a evil grin on his face?

Pressure containment drink for deep sea diving
here are some joined dots for yah.

- Slusho developed from the investigation of mammals living at the bottom of the sea
- Interesting side effect of slusho is that if you drink more than six it enables you to swim down and reach working depths never before possible
- if you come up to quick the rapid expansion causes the body to self combust causing a giantic explosion, the explosion is like a chain reaction sucking in fuel from the surrounding area that bends and buckles steels and girders which are the source for the moans and groans we hear in the video, the sigh at the end being the air rush at the end

So basically a slusho fed diver came up too fast, expanded rapidly, during his huge size growth grabed a perch on the Sol accidentally tore off the head which causes a rip in his fabic, this like a baloon launched him towards the mainland while releasing (throwing the sol head in the air), having reached the mainland gained critical mass and exploded.

No moster there at all just an over-inflated japanese diver (I saw it its huge) who surfaced to quickly while infused with slusho!. Laughing

In a way, all this talk about Ganu being a good guy is a breath of fresh
air, Hurley...but let's not forget the ultimate goal of any
corporation.

Even Tagruato...

Even if there is some conspiracy, some group doing far from ethical things...

...Ganu might not be involved with them - they may have tried to 'hijack' Ganu's project for they're own evil goals, etc.

That 'reverse-JFK' picture of Ganu on the "Company Profile" is a bit odd. They describe themselves as explorers, but Ganu is looking down. Then again, they explore the final frontier of the DEEP sea, so looking down would make sense for Tagruato. That is the ocean outside the window, isn't it? The fact his back is to us may be nothing more than a combination of an aura of mystery (ala, who can fathom the going's on in the mind of a genius?! - that sort of thing), and the practical necessities of framing a picture where Ganu is looking down into the ocean - can't really do that w/Ganu facing the camera. Finally, the fact he is looking down does seem to imply humility and/or guilt & shame - and, that's interesting.
I'm not going anywhere w/this - just rambling. Embarassed

Also, with all this talk of Ganu, it seems people have forgotten all about Big Mama: Noriko. She disappeared at sea. That's got to figure into this somehow... right?

Hi everyone!

Someone asked if leg work had been done regarding tzigane koga.

Again, an emperor related name. For "Tzigane" I dont have any kind of knowledge in Japanase name, bt this one does not sound asiatic.

In fact, Tzigane (written with a z) is a rhapsodic composition by the French composer Maurice Ravel. The French name for Gypsy is Tsigane, with an s.
