Nighthawk, I'm curious what part ain't you buyin'? If you are still skeptical of whether Tagruato is IG or not, I'd like to know why since you've generally been very astute about such things. If you aren't sure of whether the email was sent or not, that's understandable, though I don't see that there's anything in the email that's particularly noteworthy since it doesn't say anything that we can't already discover from tagruato.jp itself (so why fake it?).


With all the fake posts and gamejackers we've seen and proven so far, you have to ask?

Ultimately, the chain of events in this or any ARG should be able to be reproduced by an individual. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever for them to single out one person and contact them; they have to do it to everyone to ensure propagation and continuance of the ARG.

I know Tagruato is "in game"... I question the communications. Until I get a first hand look at it, I continue to have personal doubts.

 		Gotcha. I agree that singling out an individual is not going to be plausible with an ARG/whatever with this many followers. We'll only know if this is a legit email if there are, in fact, two new uses disclosed or at least if others get the same message, showing it's an auto-response. I don't think it's unusual for everyone not to get an auto-response, however, since there may be other factors limiting such things (bandwidth, caps on responses, etc.).

On the other hand, in the ethan haas fiasco--which for a while had thousands of followers--some people got apparently personalized emails, most (like me) got nothing but the auto-responses. Many didn't even get the latter.

Tagruato emails are not auto-responses

First off, this shows that there is actually someone interacting with us on the other side of this, and it is not an auto-response dealy. Secondly, it mentions Slusho as a subsidary, which I think proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that this site in in-game. Someone would hardly go to the trouble of putting this Tagruato site together and sit at a terminal answering random emails from people all over the internet just to hijack the ARG.

I don't think there's much clues in this response, apart from maybe the 2 new uses for ParafFun wax, and this part (which might possibly be a reference to Slusho making the monster big or mutating some life form into the monster, maybe??):

Did anybody else ever wind up getting an email similiar to this when
contacting Tagruato, prior to the distribution phase??

I'd expect a grand opening announcement in the news portion of
Tagruato's page if things were going well and Chaui opened on time...

 		Maybe the workers/builders got a hold of some slusho on the station, are all hyped up on it and cant finish building the thing or They hit something while building it and are investigating.

Is there a order to the ways the clues are released, slusho,jamie video,tagruato back to slusho?

i'd like to think there was an order to where we get the clues, but i think it is random and JJ's gameplan is all over the show.

probably has a big timeline in his office.

Dal I really like this thought of yours, so it's not just that they're lazy and haven't updated it but something went wrong, and if it is bad news they're not going to talk about it on the site (would rather have no publicity than bad publicity).
