 		So, earlier today I emailed White Rabbit. She just sent me a reply, so I'm posting both emails here.

I totally wish more people would do guerilla news. A lot of the major news agencies are just so clogged up with world news and news slanted for ratings that the real interesting stories get lost in the mix.

I could think of a few things that could leave wood splinters...

Murder One

This happened down the street from my house. Now that I think about it,
that may be a connection!

Someone heard gunshots. They run to the house where the shots seemed
to originate, and find the young owner dead, with a symbol on the wall.
The cops write this off as a gang-related killing and clean up the scene
before any of our reporters even catch wind of it.

I replied asking whether the blood at the scene was all gone, or just around the body.

It is at that. I hear if you say it along with some other words and some funny drawings, you might be able to do something interesting. I've also heard these funny stories about crossroads. They always end badly, though. Just ask Robert Johnson. Wink

I brought up Mephistopheles due to the scorch marks on Chris' walls. Makes for some interesting speculation on just how they got there. Especially with the Faust legend.

E: I'm trying to find the song in mp3 now, lol. All I've been able to do so far is read the lyrics. I have his D&D song though, and as a D&Der, I find it absolutely hilarious. XD

I don't know if anyone else has shown this to you yet, but a few of us - not me personally, but a couple of the people in the IRC - got friend requests on MySpace from someone calling themselves None. I figured I should give you the link to the profile, as he's admitted to someone that he has pointy teeth and wants to know where this askee lives. Well, I had my mind read in the chat last night. And Alucard flat out stated vampires dont exist. And we found out the whole midwest may be in danger.

I'm checking my decryption tools now. Nothing came up for ROT, so I'm trying a few other ideas.

ETA: Oh, and after the ellipse-titled post on the DailyMurder blogspot, I emailed Rabbit asking her if there was anything she could tell us. I wasn't careful about being specific so I got back a reply stating that she's 4'9" and 90 lbs. Just thought I'd share because I found myself laughing for five minutes straight over this. I feel like that guy that doesn't make his djinn wish just right. XD

She was stunned for a while, as she is weak at heart, but then chased after them and came to a house. Inside, she heard screaming, which abruptly stopped when she opened the door. The murder was the same as usual- blood gone save for the symbol. No wood. No burn marks.

She did notice two things, though: The symbol seemed to be rotating and changing. The Artist is going to try and think of why that would happen. She also noticed a piece of paper. On it, said "NONE".
