It's hard for me to parse the idea that this is going to be anything more than just the standard unnmotivated, knock-em-up pissed-off, destroy-the-city monster movie. I guess JJ's involvement in it may cause it to have some intricacy, but to the extent that some of these theories are going?
I dunno, guys. ::: shrug ::::

I dont believe Ganu is a "Good Guy". The company profile with his back turned in the picture? Most Corporations the CEO picture is a facial shot smiling or a family portrait with his wife& kids. And other little statements on the company website that makes you think something shady there. How would you feel if at the 7-11, Pepsi was installing a fountain drink machine and you see scientist setting it up, Would you try it?..lol
I would absolutely be the first person in line, scientists know how to wash their hands.
Regarding the picture, reminds me of a photo or linotype I once saw of a ships captain standing at the helm of a ship, looking out at the sea, deep in thought. Ganu's not the one concerned about the investors, the board is. Ganu had to borrow quite a bit of scratch to get the capitol for his takeover of ???(by the way, anyone even close to figuring the name of the original company out? My guess is ANU) So the concerns over making the investors happy would be natural. They took a shot on backing a maverick scientist with the capitol to fund his revenge, Ganu may have sold his soul to achieve what he has so far. But historically, a lot of people consumed by revenge have given up their souls for revenge.
I don't see Ganu giving a rat's ass about profit, profit just simply comes as a side effect of the business he's using as a front for his operations, and some of the nice side projects, such as Bold Futura, and ParafFun, go towards furthering his goals.

Japanese Batman... So Ganu is a sort of Japanese Bruce Wayne, minus the crime fighting...

Re: Japanese Batman... I still get a eerie feeling about Ganu. Hitler was loved at first also, cheering him down the streets in the old black/white footage till they found out what he was really about. Takeovers can happen without using money. Blackmail, accidents & deaths can make a takeover happen. Just dont believe he is out for the good of all humanity and the earth.

Hitler was a megalomaniac and a sociopath. Ganu is, if anything, an introvert, and takes every opportunity to shy away from public scrutiny. POC was the first time he'd be seen with someone else from the company, is it possible that it was the first time he was seen in public at all? Is there any factual record of him being anything but a dedicated scientist who shuns the public eye in favor of furthering his research and working towards his goals?
From what i've seen of him, he's a hardworking, single-minded individual who wants to reach a certain goal. It may be revenge, it may not, but that's my take.

Re: Japanese Batman... I'm not saying he isnt hard working, and yes I do believe he is working hard towards his goals. Just dont believe his goals are the best for humanity or should say NYC come 01-18. Hopefully, more clues will come out that show which way this storyline is going b-4 the movie comes out.

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing some of the scenarios and storylines played out over a longer period of time. This would make a very interesting series of films, or T.V.

Hey along these lines I was wondering if anyone ever tried to find any information on the original company that became Tagruato? The name is 力の手;. (which according to google translates to Force's Hands??) I did a forum search to see if this had been discusses so if it already has I apologize.
If it has not I am going to start digging around to see if there is anything about it out there.

It's been tossed around, but I don't think anyone's really dug to deeply. Gonna grab my shovel too, T. Come back to this thread if you come up with anything.

That's the consensus..."The hand of power ".
Always reminds me of the alternate logo in the source files...
Didn't find anything useful last time I looked into this, but that was when
Tag Corp first emerged...
