Two quick thoughts:

1. A suggestion: Let's hold off on hacking into sites owned by third parties. I think they may have a better password on this one anyway ( yes, I was tempted for a moment to try "paramount", but what would be the point?) We know that we weren't supposed to try to access the photobucket now, and there really isn't a plausible in-game reason to try to get into this site.

What do you guys think?

2. I didn't follow all the points on how this person, if not a character, could gamejack this promotion. My thinking is that while we all have our individual reactions to game jacking and the difficulty it causes ( though I've heard some advertisers would call those fan sites) -we excel at determining what is OOG. The primary thing we've learned collectively is how to tell when something is fake. So, I don't think we need to worry if someone comes up with yet another attempt to gamejack this promotion. We can deal with it.

He might be using this account to host videos for Jamie to see, so as not to make her feel like she's doing all the work. Sort of like returning the favour to her, we should keep an eye on this incase Jamie makes any mention of Teddy sending her a video or something of the sort.

It will be hard to tell if any videos there are gamejack or IG, though...

...unless the theory that Teddy is actually one of the guys in Jamie's photos (the deleted "FG Guy" pic), then we'll recognize him instantly and know it IS real.

But if Teddy's actor is still unknown/unseen, we won't have any way of "recognizing" him.

So here's hoping that Jamie posts a helpful pic of Teddy on her Myspace *before* any Youtube vids show up on teddyhanssen's site...otherwise, anything there might as well be considered gamejack.

Chancesd are that if anything is gonna come out of this, it'll be a video he posts himself, i doubt this part of the game will require any "hacking".

I think if experience has taught us anything, then if this YT site is IG, it will become more active and the PMs will start updating it rather quickly. Whenever we've found anything else, the PMs seem to scramble to update said page as if to catch up to us. Give it a day or two and if something happens to the YT page, then we assume with a little more certainty that it is IG (depending on the video) and we were supposed to find it. I believe they are monitoring this board, so when they see this topic, something will happen unless they scrapped the page in favor of the jlovest page.

Now that's not really true, since we found the Tagurato page nothing has changed, jamieandteddy.com, a second video was added like a week ago and we found the site a month ago, Slusho is the most updated but once we found it they took weeks to do something with it. Myspace pages, they don't do much on those ever. If you don't see a change in the next couple of days don't push it off to be forgotten.

Just to point out, I've spent an ungodly amount of time searching for the name Teddy/Theodore Hanssen on google, myspace, and other sites and have noticed that for whatever reason (maybe this is why they picked it), that name/spelling is incredibly rare in the US. I think they went to some effort to find a very rare name that NOBODY else on myspace had. Usually you'll hit a few genealogy records when you search for a name, but if you google Teddy Hanssen you only get IG references. My point: I don't think there IS anyone real named Teddy Hanssen in the US (or at one least who has a web presence). So I'd say there's about a 99.9% chance that anything with that name on it that was made before Jamie dropped his name is IG. (Although, it might be the French Teddy Hanssen that someone found on Facebook a while ago. Thats the 0.1%).

If there WAS a real Teddy Hanssen, and this was his youtube page, don't you think it'd be likely that he have some other stuff out there on the net? People who post things on youtube tend to be computer-savvy and I'd guess are more likely than not to be active on other websites.
