 		You should add to the timeline the recent mailouts by Tagruato asking for the articles of incorporation, which happened on 10/15 I believe.

Noriko's death and Ganu's career: We have very little information about this; we don't even know Ganu's age. All we know is that Noriko left her only son behind when she went on her ocean adventure (from Slusho History page), and that "In 1989, a brilliant young engineer named Ganu Yoshida was in search of an avenue to support his off-shore drilling revelations." (Tagruato Company History). Now, I'm guessing he's not Doogie Howser (or they would have played that up), so to generalize, let's say he was in his mid 20's (in 1989), which would mean he was born in the 60's. Based on that, it's probably a safe bet that Noriko disappeared in the 70's. Ganu's career probably began in his early 20's, so in the mid 80's. Probably graduate work turned into grant-funded research, and then he moved in on Tagruato. Who the hell knows though?

discovery of seabed nectar and start of Slusho!: We have no solid info. on this either, but we can piece together some stuff. Tagruato was on the rise throughout the 90's - from the "Tagruato recognized as Top Japanese Corporation" article on the Investor News page:

"Profits, employee base, and expenditures have all grown exponentially in each and every year of Yoshida's reign. They are a powerhouse, and their addition to our list proves they must be reckoned with."


So, the company was growing like crazy through the 90's. This makes sense, since Ganu took over in '89, and the first station (Jimmu) went up in '91. Three more opened in 1992, and then five more in 1995. We don't know if that's from Ganu's revolutionary drilling procedures allowing Tagruato to get a lot more oil, or if it was because of Slusho!

I'd guess that Ganu new about the potential of extremophiles - that's why he developed his drilling technology - for bioprospecting (oil was just a way to fund his further research); his first Jimmu station yielded a lot of interesting things for YMR, including the Slusho! ingredient. In fact, Noriko went out to the ocean in search of her magic ingredient, so maybe she had something to do with Ganu's interest in extremophiles. We just don't know. Speaking of Noriko, though, on the Slusho History page, it says that Ganu "abandoned his mother's drink business to his cousin" so Noriko already had a business - whether it was called "Slusho!" back then or not, it was probably acquired by Tagruato and become Slusho!.

Finally, some weird stuff about Danno Jo, cousin to Ganu and COO of Tagruato. The Slusho! History says the drink business was left to Ganu's cousin - we're assuming that's Danno Jo, naturally. But, in the Tagruato Investor News article about the deep sea construction platforms, it says:

Why would Mr. Slusho! (Danno Jo) be overseeing the construction of revolutionary undersea construction platforms? Also, let's not forget this weird nugget, from the 2006 article about Tokyo Business Quarterly (TBQ):
