Da, comrades...

this probably couldn't fit on a purple palm:

"Ganga was sunken, and the limp leaves
Waited for rain, while the black clouds
Gathered far distant, over Himavant.
The jungle crouched, humped in silence.
Then spoke the thunder
DA"

This may be trout, but was SHC always titled "PRELUDE"?

Definition of Prelude:An introductory performance, event, or action preceding a more important one; a preliminary or preface.

So is this sort of like the mini-quest?

At some point, the SHC page was untitled, because that observation was made during talks in #ctw. Therefore, this is new information, non-troutable (AFAIK).

In a related spec, I believe that this 'prelude' to the game is simply an exhibition of the types of things we can expect once the puzzles and games are unleashed. In that case, bravo CTW. Things are looking rather sweet, and there has been frequent discussion regarding the puzzles. The buzz is alive!

I just checked SHC (10:18am PST) and it is still "Untitled"
(yes, I hit the refresh button, just in case)

This is from the source code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
<html>
<head>
<title>Untitled Document</title>

Did they change it back?

I keep thinking, in the back of my head, that the design (now called spirograph.swf) is a clue to another page or .swf file, and we have to figure out what this design is called to get to the next page (and, no, it is not a "dead parrot".

Since at least the flying hand flash file, the SHC page has been untitled - and still is from what I see - but prior to that it was titled "Prelude".

At the time the letter grid puzzle (the one that lead us to CTW.com) was posted to SHC the page was titled 'Prelude'.

The Next Big Thing

I wouldn't mind seeing "sexy beast" make it somewher into the game. Of course, that's just my own personal humble opinion. For all I know, now they'll have a reference to a jerkface buried deep within an email.
