I got the last word and two letters in the first (and just worked it out)

Kudos Brien, did you find #2, cuz the only one I could find doesn't actually work for the solve.

What I mean is I got the answer, but only by guessing at the letters needed for #2.....it was sort of just fill in the blanks. But thanks for the answer to #2.

I updated the page.

It now has a hint that is basically a give-away to the solutions because I felt guilty for making a minor mistake (I had copied an extra row - the very top one - of the table when I was making the graphic).

from http://www.tranzed.net/play/of_no_help.htm the words are: pi,e,thirteen,cos,<don't know, i guessed>,probablity,sixty-four,five,zero,nine
put them into the grid and you get perception (.html)

Not really...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
All I've gotten is that we're somehow supposed to "transform" the word "Revelations" and that the hint for the transform is probably in the bold words in the quotes. Not sure where to go from there. Strong/bold revelations?

Heh, thanks, that certainly helps. And now it even redirects... Very Happy (because I still managed to type it incorrectly, gah)

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
for the next at http://www.tranzed.net/play/reveals.htm, using sound-->russian letter + flipping where needed seems to give:
"but our piece"
...anyone have any ideas what to do with that?
Edit: heh, no "i" and a redirect?
Ah, no "p" either. I guess the flipped "i" represents the Russian "ee" sound that looks like a backwards letter N. Sorry, that makes a lot more sense than what I was thinking (I thought it meant the "ih"-ish sounding letter that looks like bl, which is sort of Pl upside down. So, but_our_nece.htm

Edit once more:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So, from there, Rot-4 of "oownehu heiepaz" (the kanji "yon" = "four") gives "ssarily limited" ("but our necessarily limited"...amazingly enough, Google doesn't think that there is a single page on the internet that contains that exact phrase)...so http://www.tranzed.net/play/ssarily_limited.htm

A bit more:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Solving the little puzzles gives the letters "capacityfor" leading to http://www.tranzed.net/play/capacity_for.htm

And I really need to get to sleep now.

(edit: no, I lied about sleeping...)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The kanji means "under." Thank you so very much for writing out the Japanese word in English letters! Blindly browsing through lists of kanji is painful.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
and the capitalized letters at under.htm unscramble to "standing"

Also,

[Begin here.] Berlioz didn't get it. Philosophy is of no help. Perception reveals but our necessarily limited capacity for understanding.
(did I leave anything out?)

No, you didn't Very Happy
I just previewed the next one in a couple different browsers, and it seems that depending on the browser, the graphics come out sort of different... though I have no idea how that works out... nor do I really know what I'm talking about... in either case, it's easy to work it out. I think, mainly, I just want to insure myself against making a mistake... or, rather, be able to say "hey, it was 3 am when I made this... oops... let me correct this" Very Happy Hopefully, though, I made no "oops" Very Happy

P.S. mygod, the smileys Rolling Eyes

My goodness.....lol.....ask for a hint and wake up three pages ahead.lol

Is the period in the hint supposed to be there?

I've tried a lot of different ideas with the author (to no avail).

So that brings us to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
help.gif, which has transparent boxes of various sizes to the left of each number.

Heh, my mom ended up figuring it out immediately after I told her about the transparent boxes.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Take help.gif and transpose it over the poem image. Arranging the numbered letters that are now exposed results in "yet I refuse." And from there the next solution is pretty clear.
