I feel like this whole thing will become an abstract and alternative form of an art gallery/movement embracing a union of every style, every emotion, and every concept through the use of every medium. I really don't feel this will continue to be an "ARG" after 11/11, the mystery in and of itself of trying to figure out what is beyond the rabbit hole is what was meant by the label placed in the tags on the videos on YouTube.

Am I heading in the right direction at all?

And would you prefer me to send emails like the Two of Spades does?

Which is why I created this topic. No one has been saying anything new, just spewing the facts.

Give them some ideas, people!

XD

I'm not even sure there are facts. Razz

YOU DON'T EXIST, THERE IS NO REALITY!

Tristan Tzara is the only man I'd ever let get me pregnant. And I'm male. And he's dead.

But it's still fucking true. Dada would find a way.

I think Dada is incredibly on-topic for anything related to Silverladder.

it would be awfully situationist internationale of them to impregnate you, star. >:}

but i would really like to see some more real-world things going on. i can't wait for packages!

and honestly, i feel weird talking about it because the rabbit hole, the rabbit hole! what is it even? i kind of hope it's a post-post-modern art movement. hehe.

I'm totally gonna make an ARG in which someone actually gets pregnant.

I hope it's more than art. I want philosophy, art, things to think about.

any self-respecting art movement should have a semi-coherent philosophical underpinning. im(notso)ho. Cool

Your mother. Laughing

I also would really like to see more changes to the site. It's fun to randomly go to silverladder and see a change. I loved that time where it was constantly changing like every 2 minutes.

That was fun. X3

Jesus was IG. Cool

I'm convinced of what I suggested earlier. I really feel like the interconnectedness between every form of art---literally every form---is going to be taken into consideration, the cards have almost outright said that. Even if it does continue to be an ARG, I believe it won't follow the rules of anything ever created before since I doubt this was originally conceived as one. Perhaps in the process of planning it, they realized things somewhat like it have existed before and they were known as ARGs, and then they adopted the name to attract a good audience. Who knows. I refuse to refer to this as a 'game'.

What I hope is that this sparks creativity in individuals who have never been artistic. Everyone can make art, they just have to find which medium and which method works best for them to express themselves. Thinking is a form of art, speaking is a form of art, lying is a form of art. Our group and it's organization can be seen as a form of art. The IRC chat logs sound like dadaist poems at times and that too counts as art.

I get the feeling that there will be at the very least consistent weekly change to the site after the rabbit hole opens. The way they explained it to me makes me sound like things relevant to each new card will appear on the site as that card is revealed. Seeing how odd some of this has been so far, I wouldn't be surprised if they threw the random curveball at us as well.

It would surprise me if anything significant happens to the site prior to 11/11. That seems to be the focus date.

I get the idea that about half of those who are really into this are going to be disappointed if it's too ARG-like and puzzle oriented and the other half will be disappointed if it ends up being too abstract and bizarre.
