[CHAT] Marty 23/5/04

Well here is the post of the chat that took place with Marty (and Marcus) in #ideltech (also accessible through the IU chat forums).

Summary:
Marty seems quite feisty - was getting stroppy when noone was asking questions, and swore so Marcus asked him to tone down his language. He sees Thad at the NRA, but doesn't really know him. Rumour is that he was agood soldier and is also diabetic. He is fed up with being in the old building. He plays RPG's (particularly EQ) alot, and had just been to GenCon (a RPG show). I think that's about it.

There was some "is everyone here yet" type chat preceeding this:

[22:04] <Marty> I went to GenCon and relaxed after promoting TOBI and caounted it as a business trip for taxes

[22:05] <Fi> So how's all the programming of TOBI going?
[22:05] <Marty> It freaking sucks
[22:05] <Fi> How come? Problems?
[22:06] <Marty> Yes, to many bs extra stuff going on

[22:06] <Marty> They have a leaky roof in the old place we are in
[22:06] <Marty> Can't wait for the new buidling
[22:06] <Fi> have you not moved over yet?
[22:06] <Marty> No, we are going to move a few things over next week
[22:06] <Marty> But parkinglot is full
[22:07] <Marty> of Dump trucks and stuff
[22:07] <Fi> I think it will be good when you're all there... It must be safer for you all and TOBI

[22:07] <Fi> So what do you think of Alicia? Have you had any direct dealings with her?

Hehe, Fi...sorry I just had to laugh cause you said he was getting stroppy...I just love that word. I remember the time my british mate said a customer had a strop on...I believe I misunderstood her allusion at the time Wink
