NetNinja42

Anyone seen this site?

http://red-monday.blogspot.com/

That is the blog of the NetNinja42 JC was asking about.

I'm almost offended that UnForums is last in his list of where to find important information in the first post.

Any idea who this person is?

EDIT:

He seems to be pushing the possibility of this being a real OSINT operation... JustLurking and I are discussing the possibility of this being an IG character.

There's this forum too:

Yes, but we're the first source of information listed on the right. Don't know why China is there...

I will guaranty you that the symbol in that image is NOT WHA, WHAH, or any derivative. When writing a symbol, one would never make the mistake of adding an extra line. So start looking some place else, Wha is not it.

I wouldn't rule out the Bassa letter as a possibility. The extra line might just be an accent mark or an alternative way of writing the letter. It's not as though every English character always has the exact same structure regardless of who wrote it or what font it's in.

Ok, im not great with the math so the MURA thing is a little above my head. Can anyone summarize what needs to be done to decode it?

The decoding process for the MURA simply realigns the many, many individual images taken from each aperture. Since each aperture is at a different location in the array, it takes an image from a different angle and projects it onto a different point than the other apertures, so this is taken into account when assembling the final image. At least that's what I gathered from reading about it. Makes perfect sense.

I don't know why China is there either, but it doesn't hurt to list the web site (after all, the game involves it, remember the IP?).

Has anyone ran the image through a stenography program or two?
(sorry if this has been asked before...)

The original file is only 4 KB, so it's unlikely that it's hiding much of anything. Even if there was something encrypted into it, I would have no idea how to get it out, since there are so many different ways of embedding hidden stuff into images.

I tried using camouflage once or twice, but if there really is something, I don't know the password. Don't have a clue on what other program I might use. I'm too new at this...

So while we're being completely random... I did a search on Google for Bassamura (Bassa-MURA) and apparently, it's a fictional town in an Italian novel called "Il Broglio", or "The Vote-Rigging". It's about the possible rigging of the 2006 general election in Italy. Which has nothing to do with anything we've found so far.

Hi guys, I haven't been here a long time, but I've just caught up with the thread and will try to "sign up" tonight.

I noticed something on our mystery image. I think there's another little piece, just above the second "flag", that has been dismissed as noise but may not be. That region falls within one of Cr0ybot's yellow "white noise" rectangles, therefore we can take the black stuff in that region to be real, right? I've been playing with it in Paint and can post it later. Either way, I'm of the opinion that it's not "whah". Too bad it doesn't look like a Chinese character, or we might have a connection to the Chinese element! Oh well. :/

OOC, has anybody ever encoded stuff in music using the numbers of the frequencies (Hz)?

That whole thing with the chinese IP address has been bugging me. So far, it all seems to be having to do with the Prince, and areas in the middle-east. But why was that IP there? especially with it being called "Red-Monday". Has there not been trouble in the past with china trying to get nuclear weapons? that, coupled with everything pointing at the middle-east, and that power-plant... But I'm just rambling. I have been following you guys on the forums for a while now, and now I figured I would post. There isn't really anything that I have figured out that you haven't, but hey, more heads are better than... less... I think.

It's pure globalization. AQ Kahn was suspected to have connections in the black market in North Korea, so why not China?

BTW: just remembered something I heard a few days ago on the radio: China is striving to be not only the most powerful country economically, but also the most powerful in a military sense.

Ok im new here so heres what i got 2 days ago..

JC <jc> to me
show details Oct 17 (2 days ago)

I know that you don't know Saul.
>
>I also know that you are not a member of the NCS. And yet, you know something about Red Monday...here's the latest

ECHELON CALL LOG: http://www.red-monday.com/phonelogs/93124.mp3

> INCID: 92547 Date: 10/14 Time: 10:45 PM

So, besides Saul being a complete jerk.... a little more on the 'Prince.' We've gathered that he is a member of the Saudi Royal Family, who was involved heavily in the Gulf War. He has spent an indeterminate amount of time in London, England (based on phone traces provided by xxx xxxxxxx), and has often been mentioned in reference to an 'A.Q' (unknown). He recently came to our attention during a supposed meeting with a certain xxxxx xxx xxxxx at this location: [111100101010000100, 11001011110100101000000]. We don't know the reason for the meeting, but the location is unsettling.
> Call: 206-279-1586

Don't ask me about the X's. Those are taken from a blacked up doc Saul passed me... I dont know who they are. I just found the original file referencing the meeting. But, pretty freaky, huh? So, long story short... we suspect that this 'Prince' is Khaled bin Sultan, but there are inconsistencies. Here's a basic run down:

Full Name: Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud
Born 1949, eldest son of Saudi Crown Prince Sultan.
Education: Advanced military training in the U.S. and U.K. (thx AJF)
Attended the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst and the US Army's Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas.
Graduate of the Air War College at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama.

After a lengthy tenure in different branches of Saudi Arabia's armed forces, Prince-General Khalid was named Commander of the Joint Arab Forces during Iraq's invasion of Kuwait (1990-1991). Promoted to Field Marshall by his uncle, King Fahd, after the campaign, Prince Khalid retired, in 1991, to concentrate in business. (thx J. Garson) Gotta love nepotism.

An interesting quote provided by P. Naegele from Sultan: 'Ours is a turbulent region, still in the grips of an arms race. True peace and disarmament are a long way off. There are great security anxieties in our region due to the dangerous imbalance between the various players.'

But according to one source... 'After the [Gulf War], Khaled suffered from delusions of grandeur that he began challenging King Fahd.' (Thanks to Nereus for pointing this one out.) http://www.geocities.com/saudhouse_p/khaled.htm is obviously a biased source, but peppered with interesting tidbits, nonetheless.

Since his resignation (exile?), Khalid has largely kept out of the press. Though he now works for his father, Prince Sultan, as deputy minister of defense, it remains to be seen how Khalid will fare once he and his peers begin jockeying for power. (AJF)

---

Keep in mind, it's not confirmed that this is our man... but all the pieces seem to fit, except some info provided by C. Hughart having to do with the whole Living Oceans Foundation: http://www.livingoceansfoundation.org and Khalid's interest in Arabian horses: http://www.arabhorse.com/arabian-horse-shows/2006/dubai/index.php. Sounds pretty peaceful PC for a guy involved in something suspicious like this. But you never know. What are your thoughts?

Lastly, I don't think this has anything to do with the particle collider, Angelo:
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2005/02/050223140133.htm

---

Anyway, I guess the important thing, now, is to figure out who 'AQ' is, and how he ties into everything...

Oh, any any luck on the symbol?

Let me know,

More planned for 10/22.

~ JC

I need people who are quick and smart, people with some ingenuity... people who I can TRUST to help me investigate this. It could be the most significant event in 6 years...

It's the same automatic reply everybody received.

On a side note: I sent JC the information on AQ Kahn's activities in Egypt as soon as I posted it here, but haven't received a reply ever since...

I haven't received a reply about the pattern in the symbol yet either.

Mayhaps we'll just have to wait until Monday.
