I think Jamie does live alone. The reason Marlena or someone related is over so often is because of that comment about her not leaving the apartment, so now they go out a lot, at least, Marlena takes her out to cheer her up and the like.

I don't get this thing you all are discussing about Teddy.
What gives the idea that he's on a deep sea oil rig?
Why would we presume he's on a GPS computer or whatever?
To me it seems that Jamie created this website with the password just for Teddy. He could log into any online computer to do that, and on an oil rig all they need is WiFi as nearly all oil rigs have nowadays. Very Happy

I'm still clinging to the Watchmen theory - that Teddy is part of some group that's going to 'stage' the whole monster attack; I mean, it will be real, but it will be their doing. And, their reason for doing it will be that it will unite the world against a common and totally unknown threat.

So, Jamie asks Teddy what he does and he says he works for a company doing whatever technical mumbo-jumbo that Jamie doesn't understand and he says, at some point, that he - or at least his work - is going to save the world.

"saving the world" isn't inconsistent with that theory, but I realize that's not saying much. I just like that idea. Heroes, Jericho, Watchmen - they all play on that same general theme (of some group orchestrating a disaster, thinking that it's for the greater good, etc.). And, "Robert Hawkins" is the name of a central character in Jericho, just btw.

EDIT: This is also consistent with Bold Futura's company slogan. In fact, the name "Bold Futura" is consistent w/this theory. It's a bold move that will ensure the continued safety of the planet (or so they believe), and a truly global government, market, etc.
