I wasn't blaming the winners...

I was blaming the way the drawings were done. That was something that was not thought through well by the game admins. They shouldn't have allowed people to win multiple times. Why would I be mad at the winners for winning multiple times. Obviously it's not their fault.

Okay,

I don't want to sound controlling, but I just want to say a few things.

I think it is obviously fine a few people are disappointed about not winning a prize. I also think it's alright to post those feelings on this board (because not many people I know understand what I'm talking about when I mention "Case of the Coveted Bottle"). I also think it's fine that some people won numerous prizes.

I really think it's entirely understandable Paulette's upset about not winning the Challenge...that's just wrong!

But, I'd just like to say there are 34 more prizes to be had...

-2 video challenge iPhones and gifts
-$10,000!!!, trip to NY, gifts!!!!
-a flatscreen TV!!!
-and 30 mroe gift bags!!!

So there's plenty of chances left to walk away with fun stuff. You probably (odds wise) have a better chance at winning these 30 gift bags if you answered all 10 challenges...

So I'd like to propose a truce. Let's not talk about it again here...

INSTEAD...

***Let's cross all of our fingers and all of our toes and squint our eyes really hard and wish, wish, wish that all of us get drawn for these last prizes!

***Let's be so amazed and deeply greatful that so many are willing to donate their extra gift bags!

***Let's continue to keep up with the friends we've made on this board and continue to play these ARGs (alternate reality games)...becasue I think 99.9% of us had a blast with this.

Oh, and by the way, a few days ago I sent away for the list of prize winners to the address listed in the Official Rules portion of the website. I'll come back here and post all of the winners in a huge post when I receive my SASE back (which usually takes forever...but who cares??!).

I'm waving the white flag...and saying how happy I am to have had each and every one of you in my life for this short time. It's made it much richer because of you all!

Exclamation

I did the same thing, but actually, I really don't want my full name and address posted here on the internet - thanks.

Very well said, katy! Smile Thanks for taking the time to say/write what I think many of us were thinking.

When you post the winners from the list, please be cautious of posting full names and addresses. Like Palm, I don't really want my info posted either. Thank you! Smile

Hi everyone!! I just got back from my cruise where I spent .75 cents a minute just to check the Covet site. So I was a little sad that after 15 bucks over 4 days and weeks of hard work (and tons of fun), I didn't win a gift bag...yet.

But congrats to everyone that did! It made me very happy to see so many of your names on that list! I guess I still have the rest of the drawings and the video to hope for!!

Thanks for such a great time everyone! And good luck in the final drawings!!

P.S.-To everyone willing to give away one of their extra gift bags...you are a saint and a better person than I. Thanks for being so awesome.

So since I've been gone for a couple of days I don't know if this is old...but a pink letter from Sarah JEssica just popped up on the site. It doesn't say any winners though. I just thanks us. Cute though.

Oh H*LL yeah! It's an awesome game! A couple of months ago some of the players, myself included, were made site admins for the in-game board. We are currently looking forward to a live interaction in West Virginia.

Re: Winners

Go crazy and take a bath in that Covet!

Ok so I screwed up the quote button, but still, if anyone actually takes a bath in the covet, let us know!

Does anyone elses Covet smell a little too lemony? I've heard many descriptions of the smell and mostly what I get is lemon! maybe its me, maybe its just too damn hot down here for a smell to be fully appreciated. I still love my covet, but it is the first perfume i've ever worn that has gotten absolutely no comments when I wear it. anybody else have a different experience?

Of course...it's not something I even thought about when I wrote it...

I won't list any last names, addresses or anything...hopefully they list the agent name...but if not I could say something like

Katy from California won...

Or everyone could just send for the list themselves. I sure don't want to upset anyone.

Thanks, guys!!!

Thanks Katy - I doubt the agent's name will be on the list since the list is a requirement by law. Most likely the list is also used for the government for tax purposes (any prize over $500.00 is taxable I believe unless the law has been changed).
