A simple question, why is it not right to gather personal information about a US individual, but ok to do the same to a non-US individual?

Meta Answer:

The international community does recognize personal privacy as a basic human right.

Next ask yourself who said it was ok to gather info on non-us citizens?

Maybe I misunderstood the question. In the US, consitutional rights do not extend to non-resident foreign nationals.

I may be wrong, but the UN Declaration on Human Rights includes the right of privacy in similar ways as the US constitution. I think the right of privacy is considered an essential right by the international legal community, but, as we see in the US, that right is subject to the interpretation and implementation of the government.

I think Melody is trying to help drum up support for the Restorers.

And not too quietly either. Smile
